Avoid the top floor. Noisy from the heating for the hotel which is on the roof above.Walkability: Easy reach of town centre.

Very slow check in, due to the automated screens not accepting details. Third bed not made up on arrival. No additional milks available for the room. Short staffed at breakfast leaving orange juice and drinks jugs generally empty. No honey available. Having stayed countless times in Premier Inns, this was by far the worst I have stayed in.

Usually, Premier Inn?s service is quite consistent. However, I did not find this to be the case in Harrogate?s Town Centre Premier Inn. Upon check in, we were greeted by a surly staff member who begrudgingly took our payments for early check in. Given that it was half hour until the 3pm and the woman had told us the rooms were ready, £10 per room is a complete take on. It is also £15 a day to pay which is quite expensive, however, it was well positioned in town. The room was clean, however, there was a packet of empty chocolate hidden above the headboard. The WiFi throughout the hotel was terrible, unless you paid for the ultimate WiFi which I did because I couldn?t use my data either being on the basement floor. Being on the basement floor was dark, dingy, and noisy. On the second night, we were kept awake by a disco in the adjoining hotel which later broke out in a fight by the sounds of it. On our last night, thanks to the adjoining door - which served no purpose whatsoever and was blocked by a sofa - at about the 11.30pm when our neighbours came back to their room, we could hear the every part of their conversation crystal clear. To top it all off, for whatever reason, my keycard stopped working four times and had to be replaced. Each of the staff members I interacted with to get this sorted were not apologetic and seemed exasperated that this kept happening with guest?s cards. I think it?s fair to say the standards usually within Premier Inns are not being met here. I asked about making a complaint when I checked out and was directed to the feedback page on the Premier Inn website. I filled it in a week ago and haven?t received anything back.

This premier in made me reconsider about my hotel choices. I always try to stay in premier inns because "you know what to get." But this one is the worst hotel I've stayed so far. The toilet was extremly dirty, the seat was yellow and had urine stains on it. I don't think the room been cleaned at all. We informed the reception, and they didn't even say "sorry". Actually they seemed like they are getting this complaints a lot. Our room was changed, but it's heating wasn't working and was extremly cold.

How the hotel functions with its staff is beyond me, I've never had so many problems, especially waiting over 1rs 30m mins for food and being unable to find my breakfast reservation on top of a poor service at dinner. Work away alot and this is the worst premier inn I've stayed at in the entire UK!

A good Premier Inn and centrally located in Harrogate for either exploring the town or visiting the conference centre. The rooms are standard PI and also the breakfast is a great way to start the day. There is a car park below the hotel but remember it?s a pay and display !

I'm not one for moaning about a place but when I went and asked for a table for one I was asked if I had booked a table I said no I wasn't asked when I checked in but the waitress said sorry were unable to offer me a table for over an hour looking at the seating in the restaurant side there was only 3 tables in my opinion absolutely disgusting, oh and I stop in premier inns 4 days a week mostly, this is one place I won't stop in again

Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was not up the standard expected. Had to report to the staff on reception that the shower head in the bathroom was corroded and that the sink plug had discarded food remants (revolting) lodged behind the revolving flap causing it to empty slowly.Rooms: Cleaniness of the bathroom especially(as said) and generally was not up to the suggested standard. The bed/ furniture/tv in the room were a8cceptable but not exceptional.Nearby activities: Close to entertainment venues, shops and restaurants/food & drink establishments.Safety: Felt safe in the hotel and it environs. The proxity to a select car park facility being a prime advantage upon arrival and departure.Walkability: Very easy to walk to the town center.Food & drinks: Food and drink were readily available and not excessively expensive.

Regular Prem Inn user. Good location with a 5 min walk into town and restaurants a plenty. There is parking within the Conference Centre and prices mentioned in other reviews. I stayed 2 nights and didn't use it as there is plenty of street parking if you work the system (Get a parking disc for 3 hours free parking a day or know the streets nearby that are outside the 3 hour parking restrictions between 9am and 6pm).The hotel seemed well looked after however our room could have done with a paint touch up. Bathroom ceiling had quite a few dark marks on it and the skirting was marked where it looked like the flooring had been changed. Other than that, all good. The aircon worked well and was needed. Our room faced onto the way into the hotel, which has buildings on three sides. When people are coming back at night a bit "happy" or are outside for a smoke the noise echoes around but on our floor (5th) closing the window blocked the noise. If back in Harrogate I would definitely use again.

We stayed here for three nights, our room was situated on the first floor at the front of the hotel, the room was very warm so we had the window open, the air conditioner was not very effective. On the first night two employees (they were wearing Premier Inn uniforms) stood just outside reception at 1am , 2am 3am, 4 am and 5:45 am to have a cigarette break, they were talking very loudly, we asked them politely to please be quiet, one of them was very rude, he told us to get back inside and shut the window, on one of the occasions he informed us that the guaranteed good nights sleep that is advertised is for the quality of the mattress only ! These two employees let the hotel down as the rest of the staff members were very polite and helpful. The hotel is very dated and could have been cleaner.

Lovely service downstairs , rooms adequate, location perfect however tricky to find. Parking was on top of room rate. Expensive! Booked into crowne place which was almost next door. Parking included. In a nutshell premier rooms cheap with parking on top. Crowne more expensive with parking included. Add total together and crowne works out cheaper, much more refined, bigger rooms, has a gym and better room amenities ( inc chocolate, water, fridge, very expensive bathroom products)
