Went for breakfast in the cafe at the harrogate Morrisons. Staff all friendly, however John who was serving the food stood out. Really friendly fella and just seemed to go that extra mile to make sure everything was ok for me and my girls.

Generally rude staff, managers will stand there doing nothing watching you whilst you are stuck at the barrier after you pay for your shopping. Poor stock levels, gathering spot for young delinquents andon their bicycles to gather and homeless drunkards in the evening. It's morrisons, dont expect much ?

Dear Morrisons Management,
I would like to take a moment to commend the wonderful team at the Morrisons Café in Starbeck, near Harrogate.
During my recent visit, I was deeply impressed by the warm, caring, and hospitable service provided by the staff. Despite clearly being under immense pressure due to staffing shortages, they remained cheerful, attentive, and professional throughout. Their positive attitude, even under strain, was truly commendable.
The café itself was clean, welcoming, and the food was very good. However, it was obvious that the team was stretched too thin. It?s clear these hardworking individuals are doing their very best with limited support. I strongly encourage management to take a more proactive role in addressing the staff shortage so that these exceptional employees are given the help they both need and deserve.
Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to the Starbeck café team. They are a credit to your company.

Give the security guard on the late shift a pay rise!!
My car had broken down yesterday when trying to leave the great Yorkshire show, I came in here and thankfully the staff were so nice and helpful and allowed me to recharge my phone while I waited for recovery late in the evening, even offering to buy me a drink. The staff on the cigarettes till were so lovely and friendly too, but the security guard was so helpful and I'm so grateful for that small act of kindness! Great store with amazing staff.

Bring back Ken Morrison he could run these better from the grave.. sad that the stores are like this they were really family driven you had generations working for the company and a loyal customer base. Cafe was always good... not any more not enough staff for the workload anymore.

Ordered beans and egg on toast with fried bread, thinking they couldn't get much wrong with that. I was mistaken, the eggs were extremely undercooked, the toast was just bread and the fried bread was covered in oil that tasted like it hadn't been changed for weeks. Had to leave everything and felt ill. Staff were unhelpful and ignorant. Don't waste your money.

Large supermarket with plentiful parking. Usual supermarket offerings of fresh fruit, veg, bakery, cafe, frozen and refrigerated produce. Fuel station too.

Lovely Morrisons. Just a shame when we went there was no hot food for the ultimate breakfast, no gravy for the chips.
The food was okay, nothing special really to be fair. But lovely staff and the place was very busy which was nice to see.
