I visited M&S Harrogate today 27/8/2025 at about 5.20. Looking for a particular pair of trousers. I spoke to the delightful Esther and she was so helpful (and she smelt delicious) - can I say that? Nothing too much trouble and even got the staff on the tills involved. I love shopping in Harrogate. Thank you Esther.

Decent food hall but a massive oversight in not having any chilled sparkling wine or beers. The Sainsburys up the road came to the rescue!

Exceptional customer service!
I don?t usually write reviews but this can?t go a miss! Had a really good experience at M&S thanks to customer assistant Louise in the women?s department. It was very busy and she was friendly and helpful. You can tell she really cares about helping customers, nothing was too much trouble! A true asset to the company!

Just tried to order smashed avocado on toast from all day breakfast menu but been told they don?t serve this until 11.00am, but I can have sausage or bacon. Really get fed up with lack of thought for people who are vegetarian / dare to want a vegetarian option.

Ann in the changing room - asked me three times why I was there, told her three times I was with my 80 year old mother. Said in a sarcastic voice 'oh you're moving everyone up in the queue. I was full of rage when I left, I was too slow to complain at the time.

Bra fitting service.
My sister and I had a bra fitting on Tuesday. The two ladies who looked after us couldn't have been any better. They put us at ease and suggested styles, so pleased we booked. We bought 8 bras between us, in our correct sizes. Thanks

Called into m&s 4/2/25 at around 12 o clock, looking for a certain trouser, I asked a member of staff if they could help me find them and I have to say they went above and beyond to try and help me as well as other customers in between , I will definitely be popping back , thank you sue and Joanna for all your help , it was really appreciated

Disgusting service! Horrible rude staff! You best bring your shopping bag !! otherwise you'll get chased down the street if you carry your shopping out in your arms. ? Honestly your all so desperate for money these days!! Won't bother with this crap place again ?

The only thing I would change in M&S cafe Harrogate would be the high partitions,
I had a bad experience Saturday 17 November,
I found a table as usual while my wife ordered our food,
Because she couldn't see where I was I stood up to let her know where,
A senior lady put her bags on the seat on the other side of the table,
I said politely that I had chosen the table and just stood up to let my wife know,
However I politely said I would sit at the next table,
It wasn't a I politely exchange but little odd,
I was stared at by a person who had nothing to do with it and didn't get the whole picture,
I didn't say anything to the man but only to keep the elderly lady happy,
Please lower these partition as it's better for light and more convenience,
Staff there are faultless and very helpful,
Food is ok too,

The store is clean and well set out but I needed some help to find a gluten free sandwich in the Food Hall as this is not my local M&S.
I asked for help from an older colleague who sent me in the general direction; sometime later when I still couldn?t find what I was looking for I approached her again as another employee helping shoppers near by had been gone nearly 10 minutes.
Perhaps this colleague was having a bad day but her exasperated attitude when I asked her to show me exactly where I should be looking, was very disappointing.
I shop in lots of different M&S stores and can honestly say that this is the first time that I have been made to feel a nuisance.
