We had an unplanned visit to this Garage with our campervan on our way back from a holiday. The alternator decided to give up on us and Harrogate was our emergency pull over. Our repair was a long rather tortuous story which without Kristie could have cost us a lot more time and money as we had flights to catch so were on a timetable!
Thanks to Kristie the spare part was located and delivered and thanks to her never giving up we got the vehicle back on the road at the end of the following day. Her young mechanics could take a leaf from her book about customer service but a more experienced co worker managed to get our van on the lift and kept his promise to have it fixed by the end of the day. Thank you thank we...we got back to Kent and caught our flights!

Booked MOT slot and turned up 10 mins early to be told MOT would take at least 2 hours because they were behind. You book an hour's MOT slot . . . Had to work from a cafe and miss planned meetings etc. whilst waiting.

Visited this morning to get a headlight bulb replaced. I own a Fiat 500X cross. Advised it was a big job that required bumper removing and needed booking in for some time. I called my son who did a few enquiries and then purchased me a bulb. Came home this evening and he fitted in 5 mins. Not sure if they could not be bothered or just wanted to overcharge, but as a female who does not know too much about cars (but I know when my leg is being pulled) we rely on these companies to give a service, not try and get more money than necessary out of us. Disappointed!!

I?ve used Halfords a few times recently. They provided a great service and went above and beyond to make sure I got things sorted with my car quickly - essentially same day service.
The crew working there are all really nice people and will definitely be using their service again in the future. 5 stars from me.
