    This was a poor effort. £12 for a single slice of sourdough with rarebit and bacon?
    The toast was burnt around the edges to the point it was rock hard but the middle was soggy mush. I'm wondering if this had been made in error and kept under a heat lamp as it would explain the completely charred edges and soggy middle... read full comment

    We had tea/coffee and cakes, the butter served with the scones was cold and hard and the Bueno chocolate cake was dry. They need a bigger range of sandwiches for lunch time. The menu is too restrictive with certain items only available at certain times I won’t be in a rush to return.

    A really nice local cafe / restaurant, and somewhere you feel like you’re contributing to a good cause. If you’re visiting at a busy time you’ll need to access and wait for a table down the side of the building rather than via the shop, but on a nice day there’s a decent amount of tables outdoors too.
