Good selection of foods but they always seem to be lacking staff. The self checkouts always seem to have an issue, as there is only then 1 person on kiosk and never anyone on the a tills you?re waiting ages to be served.

Jennyfield?s coop is my local shop and I have been there many times with my younger siblings. I have never had a problem with buying age restricted items included in a meal deal before such as energy drinks. Today however because my little sister was with me (also getting a meal deal but NO energy drink) and didn?t have any ID they refused to serve me. I went back later when my sister wasn?t with me and they refused me again. Even though I understand that it could be a proxy sale as I could give it to her, I wouldn?t as I don?t agree with her having energy drinks until she is the legal age. As I said I have never had any problems with this before and it just makes it all the more disappointing.

Clean and tidy and well stocked. There are value items and special offers, but many of the other items are exceptionally expensive ? even more so than in the supermarket starting with W!

Management Take Heed! Health and Safety Issue! Awful experience today! The staff insist on continuing with relocation of food shelving whilst the customers are shopping. A shelf almost fell on my foot and Iit was impossible to gain access to one of the chilled cabinets as shelving was in front of it. These tasks should be done outside customer hours. Management need to seriously look at this store - apart from all this the availability of many main products was often non existent. Lots of empty shelves.

It's much improved. A few years ago this was a dire shopping experience but they've recently done it out with a total refit inside. It's now modern and the produce is good, esp fresh produce.I'd say forget old memories and try it out.
