Came to express my experience today.But looking at the reviews Its clear the staff being rude is their normal behavier. The lady stay with me and shows trying to help me but she staring at me badly and with annoying, No smile at all, She looking at me like I came to steal their shop. I realised it since I get inside. I bought few things for my sons 1st birthday and went to the till to pay. There were a lady who spoke nicely. I just did a joke for her. She accepted it she was fine. But that staff member who next to her was make her angry and she made a problem and talked me very rude. Manager came and she also threaten me at least without asking anything. As their customers they should be more polite and being working with public they should able to tolarate more. I never meant to insult anybody and never thought to embarrass her. I just apologize and all the staff keep shouting me and be very rude. So I never go to purchase anything and not recommended my friends and family to buy anything in Harrogate cardfactory. By reading the comments here anbody can understand how they treat their valuble customers. Bad service ! Bad service ! Bad service ! They didnt tolarate my joke. Because I am not white.

We arrived 10 mins before closing for a helium balloon. The lady who seemed to be in charge was really quite rude and could do with a bit of customer service training. Shouting across the shop at colleagues in quite a rude manner also!

My wife went to the Harrogate shop to buy a balloon. She was told they don't do the one she wanted. She was told that the Ripon shop can do it because it's a bigger shop. How big does a shop need to be to inflate a balloon! We drove to Ripon and she explained to the assistant there what the Harrogate staff told her. The lady in the Ripon shop said that they do same balloon at Harrogate and that the staff there were probably too lazy to sort one out. Time to drive there and the cost of fuel. How pathetic. An extremely poor customer service.
Why would anyone do that? Is it just pure laziness, because they didn't want to spend a couple of minutes carrying out a simple task?
Perhaps someone from card factory could have a word with those involved and also reimburse us for the cost of fuel for a completely unnecessary 20 mile journey, rather than a 2 mile one.
Who inflates the balloons already in the Harrogate shop if they can't do it there?
Absolute rubbish service.
If it were possible, I would give minus 5 stars.

very rude staff. came up to me and asked if i was actually buying anything as if i wasn?t browsing through the cards? when i picked an item up to get closer look i was told to put it down for people who are actually going to buy it. took my business elsewhere as clearly not wanted

I went to get mother's day balloon for mothers day and employees were nasty talked behind my back and as I got to the till they couldn't be bothered to blow a balloon up so they told me to take one from the display.Don't get me wrong though is normally a really nice shop to go to but today it wasn't so.

Small but well stocked card factory. Sell most things you need and staff always happy to help. Could be a squeeze for a wheelchair user but just about managablr.
