Went in yesterday to just swap a t shirt ?ended up buying walking shoes from a very helpful chap ?didn?t get his name but he had a ginger beard, and he was so nice and then bought a gillet and another nice and helpful lady served us ?well done to them for giving up their Boxing Day and still having a smile ?

Too cold to buy anything.There seems to be no actual door on the shop?! So it?s just open to the elements. The heaters are on but are fighting a losing battle. A disgusting waste of energy during the current crisis. The poor staff in there are trying their best but are shivering in their uniforms. I feel bad for them.

Too cold to actually do anything. I walked in and was just shocked to see all the employees shivering their heads off! They?ve got heating on but no actual method to stay warm. Surely wasting all that energy isn?t the widgets thing to be doing in this current economic climate. Like the poor employees must be freezing.

Appalling service from Mary the managerof the Harrogate storeI ordered two items in the Castleford store andwas told the items would be delivered within twodays but they actually took twelve. By this time Ihad bought elsewhere as I needed the items for atrip away. Upon returning the items to my neareststore in Harrogate the manager Mary refused torefund for the items which I had paid for in cash,this was on my second visit to the store as on thefirst I had been told to go back when Mary wasworking, she then told me to come back thefollowing week but added that if she didn't haveenough money in the till she would not refund methen either. I told her I was more than happy tohave the refund to my bank card and she totallyrefused to do this whilst being throughlyunpleasant and rude. I left the store andimmediately rang Blacks customer service whotold me the managers have total discretion andare permitted to refund to a card if there is notenough money in the till (£120) and after returningto the store with the customer services agent stillon the phone he told her she was allowed torefund to the card and he also said loudly andclearly that she was well aware of this.Mary was quite simply a dreadful representationof her employer unlike the other staff in the storewho were excellent and very helpful unlike Mary who was very unpleasant and downright rude.
