“I had pre ordered tyres and arrived early Saturday morning as suggested but it seemed to take longer than previously 2 hours 10 mins. Staff were excellent and friendly but when I arrived home my hands were filthy from them not wiping down the steering wheel and gearshift. Other than that they were competitive on pricing but I feel they could have done the job quicker if they didn't done a full report on the existing tyres as I had booked for all 4 tyres to be replaced so this to me was a pointed exercise. I would still use them again in the future.”

“Excellent service. They didn’t have the roof bars we’d ordered and wouldn’t have them in before we left for a holiday to France, so they provided an alternative set which we then swapped for the correct one on return.

Alton Cars Knaresborough rushed my car through as they were aware I didn’t have a courtesy car and kept in communication with me the whole time. When I had to collect my belongings from my car, they stayed open a little later for me to be able to get there and even helped me find a new car at a local garage. The team were so kind and understanding and helped me get back on the road super quick. They couldn’t repair my car (understandably) but I have faith that if I did need repairs they’d have helped me out massively. 1457”

“We had an unplanned visit to this Garage with our campervan on our way back from a holiday. The alternator decided to give up on us and Harrogate was our emergency pull over. Our repair was a long rather tortuous story which without Kristie could have cost us a lot more time and money as we had flights to catch so were on a timetable!
Thanks to Kristie the spare part was located and delivered and thanks to her never giving up we got the vehicle back on the road at the end of the following day. Her young mechanics could take a leaf from her book about customer service but a more experienced co worker managed to get our van on the lift and kept his promise to have it fixed by the end of the day. Thank you thank we...we got back to Kent and caught our flights!”
