We?ve had the Sunday carvery twice recently and at £14.95 per plate for adults, it?s outstanding value! There?s a choice of three meats (you can have some of each if you so wish) and a plentiful selection of veggies plus Yorkshire puddings (huge!), gravy and a couple of sauces. We were so full that we had to regretfully decline a dessert.
They also serve an excellent choice of sandwiches at lunchtime during the week and we?ve been there many times for just that.
The staff are exceedingly pleasant, helpful and welcoming. They have their own car park but I would advise booking in advance for Sundays, as it?s very popular.

Absolutely brilliant went for Father's day sunday roast and was the best sunday dinner I've had eating out. The homemade Steak pie I had alongside my Father's day dinner was spot on. We all went again last sunday for the roast dinner and again the food was fantastic. Meats cooked perfect great selection of vegetables. Massive Yorkshire puds and perfect roast potatoes and the gravy is delicious. Everything is fresh and hot. 100% my new spot for a sunday roast ?
The chef is really nice and proud to serve his great food which is also really encouraging ro see. Thank you

Stayed in the village for the weekend and enjoy The Joiners Arms each day. Nice atmosphere, welcoming and hardworking staff. Big beer garden suited our family group. Thank you

Lovely pub, you can come in for a pint and not feel judged for drinking in a restaurant. Staff are lovely and chef is top notch, prices aren?t too expensive and the food is 5 star quality, not much more to say other than brilliant chef!
Once again outstanding food, would recommend 10/10

Turned up for a drink and food as staying in the area, weren?t serving food first night as murder mystery night. Beer was good but it was a typical clicky village pub (most are on a Friday) so gave it a try on the Saturday. Sat in the beer garden on both occasions and lots of kids running about. Lots of empty glasses left on tables and kids playing football which isn?t a good mixture. Ordered food which was quick to arrive , pie (stew with a lid on, not a proper pie) was ok but could eat the veg as it was really hard and the chips were nearly cold. Still had the local clicky feel which just wasn?t welcoming so didn?t go back which is a shame as feel we need to support the local before they vanish altogether

Delicious food and great presentation! The only issue was the slow service during busy hours, but overall, a fantastic experience.
