Easily the best 'spoons I've had the pleasure of visiting. Leffe on draft, pizzas and classy decor.

It's an okay place to meet for drinks and music but don't expect anything fancy or well prepared. Food is dry microwave/frozen foods.

Everyone knows what you are getting when going to a Wetherspoons. But this is one of the nicer branches that I have been to for some food and a couple of drinks. Lovely atmosphere and a great place to catch up with family and friends.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families with children there for dinner

When the bar staff could be bothered to eventually serve us, our food came out cold, so we sent it back to wait for at least 15mins for the food to come back to us, which again was cold.. 1 member of staff made no effort at all, in his customer skills, which were none whatsoever, and also in his appearance, and he came across like he couldnt be bothered to be there.. definitely will not be going back here.

Nice building and warm enough to sit outside even in October but when it comes to the service it was like I was the invisible man at the bar. Appreciate staff were probably putting together orders that were placed via the app but it shouldn?t take near enough 10 minutes to get my first beer when there?s barely a queue

Didn't get a chance to drink as I was told it was no longer dog friendly, staff member was very nice about it. There is a tiny sign for the top terrace stating no dogs, but the lower more open terrace no signage. Been many times before and always a Great experience bringing my dog. Can't understand why this has changed.

The food was good. I recommend the steak and kidney pudding. Place is alittle shabby and tables not cleaned properly, but the toilets were very clean and staff friendly, so they are big pluses to me, which outweigh other points.

We love Guisborough, and we always pass through it on our way to visit the Pickering area in North Yorkshire. The Ironstone Miner is a lovely modern Weatherspoons where we always stop to eat. Free disc parking up to 2 hours along the high street. Great service, good food at an affordable price.

Great staff, food was good and beer great, drinking Ruddles, went with friends, 4 of us, got 2 beers and 2 g and tees, pulled out a tenner and got loads of change. My mate was gob smacked at the price, wish they could open one in my village.

I attend the college nearby and come often for coffee or breakfast and the food and service is absolutely brilliant, same with the pricing. The atmosphere is always nice and welcoming, by far one of the best witherspoons I've been too.

I like Weatherspoons pubs, reasonable food at very competitive prices. They always feel good too an Ironstone Miner is a great example of the brand. My wife and I visited at teatime on a very pleasant day, there were probably more people seated outside than in. Neither of us smoke, so not wishing to be encapsulated in a cloud of smoke or vapour, we sat inside. I wanted to take advantage of the unseasonal warm dry weather and cut my lawns, so we weren't planning to stay long and the rapid service assisted my plans. BBQ chicken with a large Pinot plus fish & chips with a pint of beer, £20.50! Unbelievable value.A few weeks ago, we had burger chips & diet cola at Five Guys for £30ish and it was sh*te.Anyone on a budget who fancies a decent meal with a great choice of drinks, why wouldn't you seek out The Ironstone Miner.

Great menu, very competitively priced, fast service. Dropped a star as some items (beans and sausage) were not hot as though they had been left aside away from heat lamp for too long.Parking: 2 hours free with Parking Disc on high street.
