My partner and I came on Sunday for our evening meal. I had seen the pub pop up on Facebook and saw the signs whilst we were away for a week yet didn't make it. Unfortunately I hadn't booked (on a Sunday probably more advisable) but we were seated without any issue. Food was ordered promptly by the friendly bartender, my partner ordered fish and chips and I ordered the Yorkshire Trencher (which was out of stock but I did expect that given a Sunday), chose the ribs instead. Food arrived after a wait however we were not disappointed on its arrival. The fish was crisp and according to my partner beautifully battered, the fish was brilliant white inside. My ribs were beautiful and came off the bone with little to no effort at all. Portions were generous and hearty. Service was prompt and friendly, I was pleased as they also do salad cream (a rarity in many pubs I have found. Toilets were clean and the outside area was well maintained. We will come back as a family and I will make sure to book.

Food & drinks were lovely.
Staff were nice and helpful.
It was clean every time we were in even when it was busy.

We visited the Brigghouse Bar and, unfortunately, found it lacking in several areas. The atmosphere was virtually non-existent, with very little going on to make it feel welcoming or enjoyable.
The food was expensive for what it was, and to top it off, I was charged £9 for a small glass of wine that wasn?t particularly pleasant. Overall, it felt like poor value for money, and we left feeling underwhelmed. Not somewhere we?d be likely to return to.

On holiday down here and heard about the Bull on Facebook so came for a meal and we cannot give it less than 10/10
Food was beautiful, big portions, cooked fresh, and very resonable prices, lovely inside and out with a really nice atmosphere, highly recommend

Went to watch the football, fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff. Great food, to be honest, not that expensive ? .

Kids chicken popper meal. Only one had a bit of chicken the rest were just coating that would only result in breaking a tooth! 1/4 of a 1/4 of a cob.. main meal was just as bad, mixed grill meat was sliced in half, 2 sad excuses for onion rings.. definitely not worth the £69! Definitely won't recommend and will actively tell people to avoid it.

Been 4 times now ranging from Sunday lunch,to steak pie and lasagne All were absolutely delicious. Booked in for Christmas Day lunch.Can?t wait!

Over 1 hour delay on food when I approach staff they where very polite and apologetic when food came was barley warm fish was dry and rubberised chips cold and hard won't be coming here again.
