We went for dinner and waited 10 minutes to be seated eventhough we booked. After we had finished our main meal we were ignored 4 times by waitresses who would not clear our plates and take a dessert order. After waiting 45 minutes we gave up and just paid the bill. 3 disappointed children. We spent over £100 and would have been more but the service was shocking. And the attitudes of the waitresses was terrible.

Called in to have a look at the menu and ended up staying for a bite to eat.Tried to order via the app but a bit confusing. Waitress rescued us and sorted our order. Food arrived before the drinks. The kitchen is open so you can see food being prepared and cooked.Ordered 2 for £18... gammon & scampi. I had the gammon with egg. A decent size piece of gammon and egg cooked perfectly. Scampi was cook but could have done with more tartare sauce.

Very mediocre food. Tables hardly cleaned or cleared. Attitude of staff is appalling, they tell you to speak to HR and feel free to complain to them but I wouldn't bother as they only side with the staff. Service extremely slow even when there's very little people in the area. Cooks don't seem impressed when placing a large order (you see them through the window) oh and my favorite has to be that staff seem more interested in being on their phones and talking amongst themselves. Worst visit in all the years we've been visiting blue dolphin. Diabolical!

We waited over 40 minutes for our desserts. We chased this up and the staff brought them out 6 minutes after chasing. We politely requested to have some money off the bill due to the huge wait. The Manager on shift on evening of 2nd September told us the kitchen had not received the order. We explained that we were customers that hated to complain, but we 100% made the order. We could not remember who served as as there were several waitresses and waiters running around the place, but requested that thinking about 'customer first' they took what we were saying in good faith. The Manager at one point said 'she could not get a word in edgeways' and that from where they were coming from, no order was made. We offered to pay full price at this point to avoid any further conflict, but the experience left us feeling frustrated- what we said was not taken in good faith, and we were left feeling not even too bothered about the late food but appalled at how the manager had spoken to us, and then taken the 15 pounds for the desserts from customers that were clearly upset. It feels like poor business sense to insist on 15 pounds for the sake of ruining your customers meal and the restaurant reputation. We will be re- thinking before visiting the Blue Dolphin again with our friends, as it's given a 'money grabbing ' impression and made us feel pretty used as returning customers.

We went in here for breakfast, there was 8 of us. Found a table perfectly fine to fit us all from our family.Shannon and the other team member who was on that day, did an excellent job doing all the orders for all 8 of us with all the drinks & picky-eater food orders as well on our table. Shannon brought the drinks over first, then the children?s meals (as asked by us) and then adults, need to give Shannon a gold star for her poilteness, but I doubt her manager will even see this.Food was cooked properly and was absolutely lovely, didn?t wait long for it at all.Very easy to find in the complex too! Recommend to visit if you canKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome in there, not very much for them to do but there is a kids menu specifically for them.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to go around in a wheelchair!

We went here for dinner 1st night we were served by the manager (man) very helpful so went back 2nd night young man served me ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING ATTITUDE spoke to manager (lady) who was nice and apologised but never went back food was nice but his attitude put me and the family off shame

Our server was Cass. She was very friendly & prompt in getting us seated & asked about allergies.Food was a bit pricey, which is expected. Our order was taken & bought to the table quickly, was tasty & hot.Cass kept the meals, check etc flowing so we wasn't waiting to long. She's a great asset to the team

It's okay. The food prices are not too bad but drinks could be cheaper. Food arrived quickly but there where only a few people in the restaurant when we went. Also portion sizes could be bigger. Couldn't order on the app as they recommend as there was no service inside.Vegetarian options: A couple vegetarian options for both adults and children.

Food tastes really good but portion sizes aren't the best, also they were quick to bring out starters and mains but when we wanted desert we couldn't get any waiting staff and when we did there was a 45min wait on desert. Desert being ice cream! For myself and my family the cost definitely did not match the quality.

I planned on doing this review last year but I actually forgot about it, but I can honestly say this place was amazing to visit for a decent meal friendly atmosphere and great service.But I would seriously just like to talk about the service me and my family received from I think she was called Helen I hope I got it right. My son is disabled and in a wheelchair and so at the time was in a blended diet, we all ordered our meals and then went to ordered a light meal for our son to blend it ourselves with our portable blender.What happened next was a little bit of a shock but probably the most friendly service I've ever had in my life. The staff member out of nowhere asked if we would like it blended and was going to use their own blender, until we told her about ours. She asked to take it and use it for our sons meal about 20 mins later our meals started coming and she came with our sons all blended up and cooled down to the right temp, she even fully cleaned out our blender as well.It was amazing service that we had to give her a tip because it was the wonderful. Our son loved it and she was very friendly towards him throughout the service, didn't ignore him spoke to him properly as well and he loved it. It's understandable that people can be uncomfortable at the moment but she wasn't at all and it felt nice for all of us, definitely will go again when we book a holiday their again hopefully she still works there.

I was dubious with it been a captive audience and 2 for one meals my expectation was low. I was wrong!!! And that doesn't happen often lol. Absolutely beautiful food £60 fed and watered 3 of us. Highly recommended the 2 for £20 steak. ???
