A perfect example of how a country pub should be ... We flew over from Australia to surprise my dad for his 80th birthday who lives in Great Broughton.. I've always had fond memories of the Jet miners from my youth so we were keen to hold a party there .... Johan and Elina made sure it was utterly perfect... The pinnacle of hospitality and professionalism was on show from the very beginning... The food was absolutely delicious and everyone commented on the quality... I've been in hospitality myself and have not experienced this level of excellence..
We ate there several more times on our holidays and it's obvious that the kitchen has talented chefs with a knockout menu ...
The Sunday carvery was the best I've experienced and I'm missing it already!!
Words cannot express how great this place is ... Thank you for making our trip even more special than I imagined...

Had a lovely time celebrating my 29th birthday with family, we had the private room upstairs and I would like to give a huge shoutout to our server Seb, he was absolutely fantastic dealing with us all and ensuring we all had the correct food and drinks. It was a fantastic evening - and we would like to give another shoutout to the brilliant singer !!! Thanks to all the team !

Had a wonderful meal on a Sunday evening here recently. Food was exceptional, special mention for the staff Gilles, Seb and Max they were very friendly and professional and couldn?t do enough for us. This place is fast becoming our go to, it never disappoints.

Really lovely *DOG FRIENDLY* place. Food was delicious, so beautifully cooked and presented. Portions were extremely generous, and staff were wonderful. Highly recommend. We aren?t local, and am so glad we chose here for our one evening meal whilst in the area.

Well what can I say! The service, the hospitality and the food were all top shelf! Johan, Elina, Brad and the rest of the staff are all amazing, polite and efficient. We had a fantastic meal and a fabulous chat with owner, Johan. We cannot wait to go back to sample more of the menu. Thanks Jet Miners team, see you in September...

The food was incredible!
The waiter that served us Gilles absolutely made the day! He was so welcoming, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and everything we needed was there. I booked for my friends baby shower, it was the perfect atmosphere!

Friendly welcome from helpful staff. Efficient service and excellent food (the burger was delicious as were the chips). Nice relaxed atmosphere, overall good experience would not hesitate to come back.

The food was lovely above average for the area
The staff were friendly and help toward customers .
One member of staff I assume is the manager , was very insensitive to the more younger colleagues degrading them and pulling faces behind his back . The young gentleman who was an absolute great host had taken a telephone booking and the grilling he got of his manager was terrible , even if the guy was in the wrong this sort of bickering and behaviour should be left behind the scenes and not in front of paying customers , I had my 14 year old daughter with me even she could feel the tension and asked to leave immediately after the meal , great pubs are made by having a fantastic atmosphere , something I never experienced this time around
