Had lunch with friends in the bar. Really welcoming, friendly, staff. Relaxed, dog-friendly bar with a nice choice of draught and bottled drinks. The food menu has a good range of choices along with a daily specials board. Food was good. The welcome from the staff and the bar itself led us to book breakfast with them the following morning. Again the Breakfast staff and service in the Restaurant were both excellent. Will return to this Village Centre bar abd restaurant.

Recommends the soaked oats with banana and honey. We were staying nearby and booked an evening meal in the restaurant.Really well looked after by the girls and the meals were great (who doesn't love a steak and ale pie ?) with a couple of pints of Black Sheep's finest. Lush.Bar and restaurant really busy on a Sunday night which was good to see.Definitely recommend if in the area.

Absolutely first class. Service was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough. I was expecting a reasonable meal but it was outstanding. They even managed to seat us half an hour early as the weather was horrible. Arranged a taxi for us.Can't fault the whole dining experience.

Dined at the Black Horse Hotel whilst staying in Grassington. The restaurant has a nice welcoming and cosy feel to it. Staff make you feel very welcome and service is really good. There was a mixup with the order for the main course, which wasn't too much of an issue and was dealt with quickly. The menu has plenty of choice for all tastes. Had the loaded fries to start, the amount of barbecue sauce maybe a bit over powering. Followed this with the beer battered haddock and chips which was really good quality. Sadly had no room for dessert. Would visit again in the future.

Had a delicious meal here, good was incredibly good. Especially the salmon and leek risotto with deep fried poach egg! We sat in the restaurant as the bar area was really busy, restaurant area was beautiful. Staff lovely and friendly too. Can't wait to come back!

A beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. We stayed for two nights during our holiday across Yorkshire and had a wonderful experience. We dined on delicious food for breakfast and dinner - and as a vegan, it was such a treat to have options! The staff was wonderful. Agi at the front desk is an absolute gem, so thoughtful, friendly and accommodating - she goes out of her way to help. Would highly recommend!

Definitely recommend this great restaurant in the centre of Grassington! We met up with dear friends for a memorable meal in the Morral Restaurant at the Black Horse Hotel. The atmosphere was elegant and refined, the staff were very friendly and the food was exceptional. I enjoyed a generous main course of sea bass with well cooked vegetables and it was the best fish I have eaten in a British restaurant for a very long time. Contrast this with the sea bass served in the Fountaine Inn in Linton, a mile away, which was overpriced and a derisory serving. All our guests enjoyed generous starters and mains, cooked to perfection, and we had no room for the desserts, which is as it should be to my mind!
