Middle Studfold Farm is a great place to stay.
We stayed there when walking on the Pennine Way in May 2025. Jan ist a wonderful and welcoming host who cares very much about her guests. The food is very delicious - breakfast, dinner, packed lunch are all carefully self-prepared and very tasty.
Our room with en-suite bathroom was cosy and clean and well equipped. We still can't believe that Jan managed to dry our soaked clothes and shoes over night, which was of course very comfortable for us.
All in all we had an exceptionally wonderful stay - Middle Studfold Farm is a true gem!

Very deserving of their high rating, Jan and Edd are very accommodating and an absolutely lovely couple. Had the pleasure of staying here recently when I took on the Yorkshire 3 peaks, great service and that bath with epsom salts is an absolute godsend, very happy with my experience here.

A lovely place for a relaxing stay. The welcome, accommodation and food are all excellent. We were doing the 3 peaks walk and we were driven to early starts, given a very early breakfast and given a great packed lunch (after a delicious dinner the night before). The sort of flexibility, attention to detail and anticipation of your every need you just don't normally get!

What a fabulous place to stop, cannot recommend enough especially if you enjoy freshly prepared food, home-baked bread & cakes (which are to die for!!)
Lovely owners who know how to look after their guests; surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire countryside - definitely worth a visit if in the area.

I was driving past and see they had a tea rooms so I pulled in to get something to go and they were very welcoming. I bought a sandwich, coffee and cake, all of which were delicious.

This is purely a review of the tea room, not the B&B, as we did not stay here. Myself and a friend stopped here for breakfast on Sunday on our way back from camping in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. There are no other (open) cafes I'm aware of in the area between Settle and Ribblehead, so this place was a good find and we had a lovely cooked breakfast here. Wasn't the cheapest, but the food was goog quality and worth paying for. The homemade cakes are also very good.
Please note that based on signage on the premises, the tearoom/cafe is only open at weekends and is no longer open on weekdays. My guess is that even though this place is enroute to the Yorkshire Three Peaks, people are not stopping here on their way in from the South, so it's not benefitting from that particular area visitor. This may be a shame for the owners, or it could also be a blessing in disguise if they don't want or need the deluge!
Food and drinks: Great food in the tearoom is indicative of great food in the B&B.

Great B&B under Pen y Ghent, friendly, helpful owners, good breakfasts and evening meals to order.
Also has a cafe which is open at weekends only. Plenty of parking.

Friendly, welcoming staff.
Beautiful, well appointed café.
Excellent menu at affordable prices. Lovely views and outside dining areas available, weather permitting!
Parking on-site. Great location to Stainforth, Horton and Settle.
We called in for cake and coffee but we'll definitely be back to try other delights!
Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Middle Studfold Farm with Jan and Ed. Superb rooms and fabulous food. We were walking the Pennine Way and this is a perfect location if you?re walking north or south. It was great to have such attention to details and such friendly and welcoming hospitality- we will be back for sure Gary and
