My wife and I stay in Gargrave quite often and have wanted to try The Old Swan on previous visits but didn't get round to it. We were in Skipton but decided to get the taxi back to Gargrave as the menu on the Swans website had steak on the menu also pie of the day which would have suited us both. We were given an A4 menu on arrival which had neither of these on it, we asked a member of staff if the items we wanted from the online menu were available and were told that menu wouldn't be available for another week. After a long day we chose to stay and both ordered the Swan platter. The BBQ wings neither of us could eat as they were too spicy, possibly buffalo wings. Fish goujons = fish fingers. The corn on the cob was very nice. At £19 each though very disappointing. We won't be back.

Been in Gargrave accommodation for a full week thoroughly enjoyed our time here. BUT Ventured into Old Swan, one of 2 pubs in the Village. We thought the old swan pub was Very dirty on the out side area with not emptied ash trays and the seating area not swepted outside area. Our son came for the weekend so decided to have a Sunday lunch here BUT I WISH WE NEVER expecting proper country village cooking BUT how disappointed was we meats was like shoe leather veg was disgusting cauliflower cheese was just 2 cheeses melted over under cooked cauliflower stuffing balls wife nearly broke wifes teeth roast potatoes most probably cooked day before and re heated and gravy like water no taste at all and ho my god pigs in blankets was cheap sausages from Iceland only fit for dogs basically we should of cooked in our cottage as it would of been 100% better ,One good thing pulled a good pint of cider

A lovely friendly place to stay on our recent visit to Skipton. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Friendly staff, a lovely lady served us at breakfast.

Called in after a trip to Skipton as it was almost on our way home. I opted for the steak and ale pie and my wife had the 3 meat Sunday roast. The service was great so was the food and drinks, will definitely go again

A really nice pub with a menu filled with British pub classics. The service was really friendly and the prices are all really reasonable.

Delicious meal tonight for all of us, 3 adult meals and a kids meal. Super tasty, very fresh and great portion sizes. Very tasty and very well recommended!
