Please don?t make a mistake and be put off by the ?out of town retail? location and premises: food was just *fab*, my chicken handii was deliciously spiced with delicate tender meat and the best curry I?ve had in an age. Washed down with a Kingfisher Zero.

Came across this restaurant by accident taking a wrong turn for our hotel. One of the best naan breads I have had (garlic). We had the Goan lamb and garlic chilli balti. The taste of the sauce for the Goan dish was the best I've tasted in ages.

We've been here a few times and been impressed each time. Always tasty food, well-presented; friendly and welcoming staff; great choice on the menu; good value.
Special mention must be made of the mushroom pakora and Goan curry - they were beautiful.
Also, a nice touch: we were the last customers to leave on Thursday night and they opened a new box of chocolate mints for us. They could easily have not bothered, pretended they don't do the 'mints with bill' thing - quite a few restaurants don't.

Decent curry house near the University & Park and Ride in York. Ambience is nice, with a nice bit of Nusrat playing quietly when we visited. Lamb curries were fiery in a good way, and nicely cooked. Poppadoms came with a good selection of chutneys and sauces. Service was just right, as were prices. Good Stuff!

Chose this Indian as it had off street parking. Menu seems reasonable on prices. It's the first Indian I have been to where the Korma had more flavour than the Tikka Masala. Rice tasted like it had been microwaved, came in plastic cup containers that had the look of being microwave pre made rice packets. Meat was the thickness you would get in ready cooked meats counter in a supermarket.
