Dropped in today for a spot of lunch and a coffee .my wife had the posh fish fingers and we ended up sharing it well I say sharing I did manage to prize a few chips from her.the place is very nice and clean the staff very nice and pleasantWe usually go out on Christmas day for a coffee and a brandy well we will be in your hotel the hidden gem .well done to you all.

The hotel is open to visitors to use the bar and restaurant. The outside area is great in the summer. Views across the bay to the Brigg are lovely whatever time of the year you visit.Nearby activities: Looks to see and do around Filey and the surrounding areas

Booked as a wedding venue, fantastic experience enjoyed by all our guests. Excellent food and service, attentive staff. Dealt with the manager Dean before and during the event, friendly and helpful throughout. Fantastic panoramic views from Filey Brigg, across Filey Bay to Flamborough Head.Highly recommended both as a hotel but also as a wedding venue.

Just spent 2 nights and it was as good as ever.This was our 10th visit and this time my Mum and I took my brother who lives in France. He was very impressed by the friendly service and wonderful food.Food & drinks: Incredible food in the restaurant and lunch in the lounge.

Stopped for a light snack in the garden. Beautiful views, food tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel is immaculate. I would really recommend it.

Afternoon tea is not as it was pictured on the website. We were taken in by the delicacies that tempted us by the photo. The afternoon tea was nothing like the photo. No menu tempting us on what was to come. I asked the waiter who explained to us there would be sandwiches, scones and small cakes, dah, we know that! No selection of teas. A pot of Yorkshire tea was given to us. The sandwiches were okay, the fruit scone was dry and the cream was out of date. The cakes looked like Tesco?s tarted up with a raspberry and a strawberry. The service started of okay. They were very apologetic about the cream and gave us 10% off. The bill did not take the deposit we paid off. They sorted it out but took ages. They honoured our request for a seat by the window. The ambience of the restaurant was cold an uninviting. After 10 minutes it had emptied out. The waiter and waitress then got the room ready for dinner, walking backwards and forwards over the wooden floor. It made us feel uncomfortable and should rush our food.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The hotel is clean and well kept with very friendly staff and ideal for a relaxing weekend or longer. Would recommend and the breakfast was great, as was the Sunday lunch we had which we thought was good value.

Had a weekend in Filey with our friends, Richard and Pat. We suggested WL obviously ! They were blown away with the experience they had. Lovely room and best table in the house for two superb diners. They were looked after by Dean Maymon, General Manager, and his team. The service they gave them was impeccable. Keep up the good work and we?ll see you again soon.
