Just like a previous reviewer ?Gary? we entered this shop on Friday 7th July with our Blind, Elderly, little Pug Dog in her small pram, she has separation issues so we certainly wouldn?t leave her outside. We were abruptly told we couldn?t bring her in. The Person in this shop needs replacing as this attitude is Draconian and out of touch and can only serve in getting the charity a bad name and let?s face it their are many good charities out their. We were visiting Filey for the day after travelling around Yorkshire in our Motorhome and this is the first time in a while we have had any issues. We go in many charity shops (even the ones only allowing assistance dogs) cafes, restaurants, shops etc with our little dog in her pram and everyone understands she poses no threat to anyone unlike many unruly kid?s we?ve seen.If Sue Ryder can?t understand peoples dogs are part of the family then they don?t deserve our charity. ??DOG OWNERS PLEASE GIVE SUE RYDER A MISS UNTIL A COMMON SENSE APPROACH IS ADOPTED.

Was told to leave after carrying my small dog in with me. I can understand not wanting large dogs walking on floor in case they have an accident but carrying small dogs? Doesnt make sense and certainly does not excuse the shops attitude. All other charity shops in filey allow small dogs to be carried. As long as i dont go in the food section i even take her into Marks n Spencers! So, what is so special about sue ryder? Will not shop there again and would ask other dog owners to boycott!
