Sadly regular at midday today just one poor assistant slowly heating order of hot food on mini oven X hot drinks but no other staff visible but audible in back bit by freezer's. Long queue why not for those have self scan till point? I won't be returning. Surely this is peak trading time? Also if not a regular first timers don't understand the odd queue system suggest a post/sign /rope with polite pinned queue HERE etiquette! Old shop before refurbishment provided slicker service...also beware of bespoke sandwiches which slow the purchases even more....shame...I get fed up by new customers skipping queue or asking if we're in the queue!!

I call this place cold lands cos when you expect a nice warm pastry theyre always stone cold, when I asked if they were warm they touched with the back of their hand, big no no but still the food is tasty, just needs microwaving when you get home

I wish I could ask for a box salad to be made up without staff sighing and giving me a look of distain. If they feel that way, could they at least wait until they are away from the customer. This is not all staff but to be greeted like that is certainly not customer friendly.
To add, I always check that there is not one already made up and there were only 3 people in today.

Great food wish there were Cooplands around me. Would not recommend ordering too good to go bags from here. It's unlikely you'll get one, we had bought 2 and when we went to collect them were told they had cancelled them later that day very disappointing.

Overall a good bakery , staff are lovely , but they seem stressed because of the issue of bieng understaffed , also the qeues are quite long

Queues are always too long and always seem short staffed. Staff are always polite however seem stressed.

Staff is amazing and so helpful! The meal deal is only 4£ and the sandwiches are great! Loads of variety to choose from and they serve you generously.

Went to day. First visit to Filey. Very rude shop assistant. Asked her what pasties they had then went to the door way to ask my husband who was out side with the dog. She was then very sarcastic behind my back My husband heard her and said I was just asking him what he wanted. If I had known this I certainly would not have brought anything. This assistant needs to be retrained in customer service. There was no need to be rude. It is only the fact I went into another shop were the staff were so friendly and helpful that I will return to Filey
