“Wasn’t that busy when we visited. Didn’t have to wait long at all to be served. Cashier was friendly and greeted us with a smile which was nice to see. They had a little bit of banter which was also nice. Isn’t that big of a store but had what we needed in it.Next time I’m in the area I shall be visiting again.”

“From the Haven point of view this was a very enjoyable stay, the caravan (bronze) was a good distance from the main complex but was in a peaceful location (Spruce Ridge). Had our evening meal on arrival night in the Brigghouse, food arrived in good time, was plentiful, tasty and the staff where friendly. The mini market is very well stocked, some prices are interesting especially on staples such as bread and milk (wouldn't normally pay over £2 for a loaf of bread), ideal though as a stop gap until a proper shop off site could be done. One downside was the amusements, a fair number of machines crammed into the area but during the week we were there most of the token counting machines where out of action as where the change machines to get 2p's so sometime a bit of queuing going on to use the ones that did work. Off site the park is ideally located for Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. Although we did drive into Scarborough a couple of times we found the best option was to park in the Filey road park and ride and take the bus which ran at frequent intervals during the day. From here we also visited the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Whitby, Filey and Bridlington. The only downside and this is nothing at all to do with Haven was the weather, rained every day we were on holiday at some point, on the day before we left we were even treated to a torrential downpour that flooded the area immediately outside the caravan, the main car park, part of the complex and highlighted why we'd been parking in bay near on the road close to the caravan and not on the grass next to it.. Despite the weather at times it was a very enjoyable stay and would certainly return to Blue Dolphin though would maybe consider moving up a caravan grade.”
