Food was excellent. Service good to start off with our starter, then we had a long wait for our main course. To be told the service was slow due to take away food service. ? but food was worth the wait.
No service charge at the end. We definitely eat here again. Clean, & tidy.

Came up from hertfordshire for a visit to York and decided to eat out here. And so glad we did the food here is just lush. Amazing so tasty. 5 stars is not enough and service is amazing. And prices so just wow so good for what you get. If ever back this way. Will only eat here

I was staying at the Parsonage Spa and Hotel so decided to pay this place a visit for takeaway. Service was super fast (food ready in 20 mins) and the portions were generous. Quality was excellent, beating most Thai places in London and the price was very reasonable.
After being a bit let down by the size and pricing of the food at the pub next door, The Fat Abbott, I had low expectations for other places in Escrick. But this really was a hidden gem and I'm looking forward to coming back to York to both eat here again and also maybe stay in one of the beautiful cottages they have attached to the restaurant. What a pleasant surprise!

Lovely place, great service but all spoilt by the fact that the room we dined in was freezing, my wife and my friends wife had to keep there overcoats on the whole evening, infact my wife had a scarf on the whole time also, I only noticed one radiator at the other side of the room so can't say if the heating was on or not but if it was then it is very inadequate for the room and other heating devices should have been brought into the room. It would definitely put me off going again on a cold evening. Such a shame.

We were a large birthday party so they set us up in a separate room, which was very considerate. The Food was amazing, it had been a while since I had eaten Thai and was impressed by the variety in the menu. the Satay chicken starter was very tasty and the sauce wasn't hot. my Main was Duck in a Tamarind sauce and was delicious, the duck was cooked so the skin was crispy and the vegetables were tasty. The Sauce was amazing and I'll be trying to make something similar at home!
