We recently visited couious coffee company and had a excellent experience.
The service was friendly and the food was delicious and fresh.
The only disappointment was some of the special were sold out
Which gives us reason to go back to try the other brownies

Breakfast stop on a bike tour of North Yorkshire. Two of us had the bacon sandwich and one had the Cesar salad. The food was excellent and the drinks are really well presented, the small brownie with the coffee or tea simply topped the enjoyment. The welcome and service were very friendly, we will definitely come again. For the quality of food and surroundings I would describe the prices as very reasonable.

Friendly team, cakes and coffee lovely. Had some really nice chocolates in the shop also, quality hand made. Google said they weren't open on a Sunday but they were. Worth a look in for sweet treats or a coffee stop.

We called here without knowing anything about it and ordered the cheese scone with cream cheese and pickle. We couldn?t have chosen anything more appetising. The scone was warm and full of cheese and the cream cheese, butter and pickle came in individual little tubs. It was delicious. It was a hot day and they brought us iced water to drink. Pleasant and cheerful staff.

Great coffee and great food

They sell good coffee I have to admit, one of the better ones around. After going there for the first time I really thought it was worth travelling 20miles just to enjoy it.
It's not perfect though. I went there today and felt a bit like an alien from a distant galaxy for asking for a macchiato. Granted it was not on the menu, so I cannot blame them too much. But still, I was kind of hoping that a place, which has coffee in its name with 4.8 rating would easily be able make one.
Cake is on the sweet side. If it was up to me I would have preferred it having a third of sugar. But that is just me. Someone with a sweet tooth would certainly be delighted.
All in all, although I'm not sure I would be prepared to travel 20 miles there anymore, I still recommend it. If you find yourself cruising along A19 have a quick detour, you will be in good hands there.
