Beautiful cafe, clean and bright, very friendly and helpful staff. We had tea and a latte which was delicious. Took a gf almond cake home with us which was amazing.

Slight change of focus here as now more of a perennial garden centre with brilliant ecological wildlife and sculpture area with cafe. Choice in cafe is now drinks and home made cakes so not such a wide food choice but great addition to the expanding nursery and garden design services.

Thank you so much for all your help and advice yesterday. I really didn?t know what would suit the border or where to start. The plants are all gorgeous and healthy and will transform our dull little patch. The apricot tart was amazing too! See you again soon. K x

Excellent food and coffee. The pancakes are amazing. You can choose from a selection of sweet or savoury. They also have a selection of freshly baked cakes. The gardens around the cafe are beautiful. I had coffee at a few different places around and this was my favourite. Definitely worth a visit. (They take card)

Great experience. Popped in for coffee and ended up having lunch as all the food coming out the kitchen looked so good. It tasted as good as it looked. Good vegetarian choices for the savoury pancakes. Mooched around the art gallery and picked up a unique gift for a friend. Nice selection of plants, so I couldn't resist treating myself. Then a small wander around the garden. If you are near you have to visit this place.Wheelchair access if you need it. ?

We took the dogs on a long walk on some if the many surrounding footpaths which were all well maintained and well signed. We ended the walk at the Dutch House and were warmly welcomed and served excellent coffee and hot chocolate and some of the best tasting cakes I have had in a long time.Overall a very pleasant experience and one which we shall repeat.

Lovely vege breakfast and lovely staff who kindly allowed me to order well after breakfast had finished. My bf loved his cheese and bacon pancake and the home made cakes looked delicious.The gallery, as ever, was full of interesting pieces.Well worth a visit and a stroll round the gardens.

Tried quite a few of the pancakes, favourite being poffertjes with butter! Lovely courtyard (and also indoor dining room). Nice little wildlife garden at the back with vegetable patch and children's play area. Then there's a fabulous art gallery with modern exhibits.

Worth a detour/visit! Excellent high quality art gallery next to a lovely Cafe with delicious pancakes (sweet and savoury). Also has a wildlife garden to explore and has started selling plants too.Gallery has modern paintings, sculptures, pottery and jewellery - well curated and displayed.

A lovely out of the way location, great helpful staff, genuine Dutch hospitality and food. We had the crepes filled with bananas and honey, delicious. All the individual local art on display inside the cafe is for sale, check out the gallery studio as well.

Popped in for a coffee which I particularly enjoy. Greeted and made very welcome as per usual. It was late afternoon so only few people in. There is an extension to the garden for the sale of plants, of which we have bought some on previous visits.Always a pleasant place to visit.

Consistently good with a nice selection of traditional and Dutch options (great savoury and sweet pancakes). Great gallery on site and garden to wander around. Seating inside and out. Owner operated so always to a high standard throughout. Worth the visit.

Pancakes sweet and savory also in gluten free and dairy free! An absolute delight. Beetroot and goats feta pancake for me [dairy allergy]. Some nice dessert pancakes too. Kids corner. Small cafe with courtyard and gardens to walk around. Not quick but work waiting for.
