Great pub!
Dog friendly, lovely landlord and landlady.
Great staff.
Great beer!
Large beer gardens to front and side.
Large car park - if you do drive don?t forget to put your reg in using the ipad on the bar - plenty of warning sides inside and out.
Live music on a night weekends, quiz night on a Wednesday.

Me and my. Family popped in here today we ordered 3 fish and chips and pie of the day, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food was fantastic, we will be going again and again

My favourite pub in the village. Atmosphere is always relaxed and the staff are always lovely. We've taken the kids and dogs and always felt welcome. Food has always been good and unlike another establishment in the village, the beer is good quality and doesn't make you poorly. Highly recommend!

The Cottage Inn is a nice village pub. The front bar has a modern feel to it. There is a good selection of draught drinks, including three cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. The ones I sample were in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is outside seating, and the pub is dog friendly.

Just edited my previous negative review to write this one. Under new management, this place has massively been turned around.
For the first time in about 4 years, there's actually somebody friendly behind the bar! After a string of uninterested/transactional/unhelpful bar staff, there's now smiles and politeness.
The food is AMAZING. I'm looking forward to going back for another pie, chips and peas. The best pie I've had for 12 years. Nothing comes close.
Finally, The Cottage has been saved!

Dark,dismal. Scruffy including staff who were in ripped jeans casual .!!!
Toilets need attention.
Food , had fish ,chips and peas, chips were hard, fish ,batter undercooked and pale could have been cooked a little longer, pudding sticky toffee pudding ,delicious!!
Sorry The Cottage, will not be calling again.
