Booked in for Sunday dinner 26/05/24. Arrived early, though we were seated and orders taken upon arrival. Food arrived shortly after. We both went for the large, 3 meat Sunday dinner and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious ? albeit my wife had one niggle which was that the Yorkshire was abit over done. However £13 each well spent on a lovely meal!

No atmosphere other than the owner holding court with a local including the odd expletive.Rather disappointed I thought Stokesley would have at least one decent pub.

Fantastic food & service. Dog friendly too which is a huge plus for us. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Lovely pub in Stokesley. The new owners have really got to grips with the place. Just popped in for a beer. Great atmosphere and a warm welcome too

Outstanding "small" English breakfast, large enough for any person. Cosy warm country pub atmosphere and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Everything here came to a grand total of £8.00

Back in for the first time in years. New Landpeople! and changing a few beers. Beer kept well. Atmosphere better with seating back. Will go again but am a Swan man so difficult.

Friendly bar man and a few good ale choices. Only popped in whilst waiting for a Chinese (which was exceptional) but would be more than happy to go again.

So glad we found this place for Sunday lunch. This is a cosy, traditional establishment with friendly staff and excellent food. The Sunday menu is limited to either small or large roast dinners (beef, turkey or ham) with a good choice of starters and desserts. I opted for a small roast beef which came with Yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and mashed swede with lots of lovely gravy and it was enormous! Very delicious and piping hot. The veg were all fresh and nicely cooked. I would have loved to try the sticky toffee pudding as several people in the bar were eating it and highly recommended it but I couldn't eat another bite. A very good Sunday lunch which I can certainly recommend.
