Food and menu was so much better only a few months ago, not sure why £20 burgers need to be called random blokes names, just feels very much like a man finds it hilarious, doesn't match the vibe - parmo was small and everything came in a random vessel instead of all together on a plate creating so much extra waste for no reason.

Gorgeous meal for my 40th birthday. A lovely young girl named daisy was an absolute delight and made my night even more lovely. Beautiful inside and out and staff and there attitude is always a big deal to me no matter where i go. She's an absolute credit to the business

Not good! We booked a table two weeks in advance. I ordered the smoked mackerel and the portion was 3 inches big. They tried to make it look bigger by placing it on top of the sliced potatoes. I complained at the time and was told that it was the last piece. They had run out of chips so alternatives were offered at the time of ordering. It was on of those times when warning bells go off and you should get up and leave at that time. The atmosphere was good because the football was on in the bar. The service wasn?t good because with only 3 meals the waitress forgot one of the orders and hadn?t written it down. I will think twice before visiting again.

We have been to The Mill numerous times over the years and left reviews( all good), but o dear, what a disappointment today. Ordered the half parmo and half fungi parmo. Portion size was good, but the quality was dismal. The chicken was that thin it was barely recognisable as chicken. The quarter inch of cheese on the top had oozed fat and certainly had been layered on yo make the parmo look a decent size. The best thing on the plate was the gherkin,sad to say. I'm afraid I won't be back and definitely won't be recommending to anyone. The service was good, but the overpriced menu and quality needs attention.

We went for a midweek impromptu celebration meal last night. Booked earlier in the evening via the website booking and were able to get a table at a time we wanted. It was a Wednesday evening.
We?ve been to The Mill many times and we?ve always had a good dream. It can be very busy on a weekend though so bear that in mind and book early. Definitely don?t leave booking till on the day. You might be disappointed.
We were seated straight away when we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. A good range of Pub Grubb and Gastro pup food. We ordered three parmos - original, Philly cheese steak and the red and black. All of them came with junkie Chips. My daughter ordered a lasagna. We then had two desserts ? one Panna cotta and one baked cookie dough and two coffees. We had a lovely evening.

We have happened upon The Mill after a day at Saltburn beach with the dogs. Still here and enjoying a beer and Limocello Spritz in the beer garden.
Ours hosts have been so welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. Our dogs were offered beds and given treats and water. We've had a super meal and as vegetarians, that's a lovely surprise.

Our first time at ?Pups and Pints? and we had a great time. Really well organised event by friendly, chatty staff and after walking from the pub to the G & Tea House, Star dived straight in a dog bed when she got back to the pub before enjoying treats and some doggy ice cream! Will definitely be back.
