Worst veggie burger I have had in 38 years . Slop in a hard bun. Even the chips were gross and I?ve never said no to potatoes, but this was diabolical. Absolute thievery going on. No one in this pub can cook an egg

Ordered scampi and chips and chicken platter. The chicken platters chips weren't good standard chips. It felt as if the chips had been put on the fryer again. That gave me and my family quite upset tummy the evening. Felt like it was only for beer and alcohol consumers. Certainly didn't give me a family environment feeling. Wasn't welcomed at all by the staff in particular when I had a toddler and a kid. So went to find our own seats.
Not going back again. Was recommended by a mate in the forces but had to manage my expectations massively.

Was in the area a few weeks and drove past the pub, thought it looked lovely so returned. Had a few pints and some lovely food. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I have been using the Bay Horse for the past week and have eaten. The service received from Rachel was friendly and extremely competent. The food was lovely and fulfilling and very reasonably priced.
Highly recommended.

Took some friends back to the Bay Horse for lunch. it was absolutely lovely. Food was great 10/10 from my very pickie friends !! . will definitely be using The Bay again.
