I believe the Bay Horse reopened Thursday gone (5/6/25) and is just starting up after the longest time closed. Anyway, Nick the landlord was very welcoming and has good knowledge of the area. The pub itself is the most traditional pub I've ever stepped in (I've been to one or two). I had a shandy which was reasonably priced. I noticed a dart board and various board games to keep you entertained. I cannot wait to visit again and I can only imagine what it would be like in the winter with the fires roaring.

We were at the Bay Horse New Year?s Eve and was very happy with the professional and friendly staff. A good night was had by all.

First time visiting in October, Julie and her partner were lovely. Very accommodating towards us. First trip to a pub/restaurant since having baby and they were so helpful! They brought a towel down for baby changing so he wasn?t cold and put the heating on in the bathroom. Made me feel so at ease, nothing was too much trouble.

This is easily the best local pub around Catterick , the staff are alway swarm and friendly and the atmosphere is always amazing , the pub is always warm and inviting at it is a really a lovely pub to visit and call my local , oh ye and the food is bang on as well

Great quiz on Thursday, I know we didn?t hit the high scores but who cares when the company is welcoming and the beer is fresh, we?ll kept and good value.

What a great country pub, with a cozy ambiance and very welcoming. We had a meal and the food arrived at the same time and we could not fault it, hot and tasty on all accounts. Staff and locals made us feel relaxed and welcome. Will definitely be going back Regularly. Many thanks to the Bay Horse team

Me and my partner brought our little girl for a family meal. The food was hot,delicious and quite good value for money,the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend this local friendly pub

Driving South for Christmas we stopped to lunch with family who live in Catterick. Simple pub food and plenty of it. Stand out was the friendly welcome from helpful staff and management. Visit from Santa was a plus for the three year old.

Would like to say that The Bay Horse Team went above and beyond today to cater for 23 people who had the Festive meal for my 69th Birthday. Beautiful food hot and tasty .Then after the food presented myself with a Birtday Cake Absolute great Day Thanku Jules and The Bay Horse team X?
