A superb traditional fish and chip shop. The menu is short, but it's made fresh while you watch and very good indeed. I had a takeaway but there are tables to sit in too. The ingredients are top quality, fresh fish, proper chunky potato chips, quality peas. Friendly service too, couldn't fault anything. Watch out for opening times, only seems open a few hours Thursday to Saturdays.

Shop online states that it closes at 20:00 and we arrived at about 19:15 with the chip shop been closed which as a trek from our campsite we found rather frustrating

What a great chippy. Everything is made fresh. The chips have a nice crisp texture with a fluffy inside. The fish is done to perfection. And to top it off the mushy peas are super. What a gem to have on our doorstep.

The quality of food we had was excellent, especially the fish, but the service was not! Was fully aware it was busy, Ingleton Chippy was shut & it is Friday evening. No, it wasn?t your fault that some woman had a massive order in. But 46 mins from order to being served it, is not good enough! People were served before us that came in after us, people came in the cafe 35 mins after us and were eating before we got our food! People ordering on the phone after us and coming in to pick it up whilst we were still there! After 45 mins patiently waiting when I?d had enough, you had a pop at me for daring to complain?.not great from you really! A sincere apology would have gone down much better?.

Brilliant little fish and chip shop and restaurant. Friendly staff and great service.The food we had was really tasty and good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend.

This 'Chippy' is a straight forward cafe. The chippy has a limited menu but seems to work for the town. Chips are good and the pies are made by Hollands, don't know who they are. The Steak Pudding is small and my wife found gristle in her pie on two occasins. My S&K pie was hard on the crust, perhaps over microwaved. May not rush back, but want to try the fish, but just didn't.

Website said open Wed 12 -1.30pm and again at 5pm. Arrived 1pm Wed and closed. We were disappointed
