Went for a walk locally and popped in on off chance as it looked v inviting and so it was - very welcoming landlord and staff and excellent menu esp the set lunch which we had - all beautifully cooked/ presented and absolutely delicious ? immaculate inside and out - we chose to sit outside in the lovely beer garden as it was warm - can't comment on rooms obviously but probably fab going on our experience- service was excellent too - thoroughly recommend this gem of a pub ? ?

We stayed at the Oak Tree Inn as we were attending a nearby wedding. Everything about this place was simply perfect! The welcome we received was warm and friendly, the room was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was to die for and the service was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place and definitely will be returning. We drove to York City Centre the day after and it only took us 35 minutes so it?s in a great location.

Just got back from a lovely 2 day stay there with my partner and Rudi the dog and had the most fabulous time there. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble and Abby (manageress) even baked me brownies for my birthday !
Lovely spacious, clean room, bed very comfy and the view was lovely over the courtyard
Would definitely stay again !

Great location, close enough to York and in a beautiful village. Room was clean, comfortable bed and well appointed. We stayed for dinner after a few drinks - the service was great and the food was very good quality with additional specials. Breakfast was included in our tariff and was also excellent. A real gem of a find for our trips to Durham and we will stay again.

Grabbed a takeaway at the bar. Served by a very nice young man who seemed to know his stuff & genuinely cared about the place.
Popped in to check Fathers Day booking status. It seems that the menu includes roast on special occasions..probs includes Sundays. All seemed well organised & clean.

4 of us called for lunch on Wednesday. We were all very impressed, good parking, nice outside seating as well as indoor, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the young gentleman behind the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, lovely food and great service. The premises very well presented and very clean. Will be back. Thank you

spent a weekend here recently, staff really lovely and friendly. rooms beautiful, food great.little disappointed with breakfast, felt like it had been kept warm for a while (meat a little tough).but not enough to keep us away,we'll definitely be back

I stayed here for work on a Thursday night. We arrived around 5pm and checked in no problem, however when we got to the pub for dinner approx 8pm we were told the chef was wanting to close so we needed to order as fast as possible - fine, but it would have been nice to have been told that when we checked in so we could have planned our evening.
After dinner I was looking forward to the ?spa bathtub?, however it was either broken, or I was unable to use it (instructions maybe needed?).
The bed was super comfy and I slept very well - until I was awoken at 5:40am due to the daylight from outside. The curtains were thick but unfortunately didn?t cover the entire window.
