We contacted Richard on the recommendaion of friends and are absolutely delighted with the result. Richard came along with loads of ideas and enthusiasm for transforming our small and dark kitchen. The units he supplied were of far superior quality to the high street brand we had considered. The occassional delivery hitch was sorted very speedily. The final result has been way beyond our expectations.

UPDATE - Time has moved on and so have we, new home - new kitchen - once again Richard has helped us create the space and look we wanted at a very reasonable price. Well done again Richard.Richard was very helpful when we renewed our large kitchen, I can highly recommend his services.

Shavings helped us choose and design our kitchen at the budget we could afford. Anything we chose which we disliked was changed at a moment's notice. We changed our minds about a few things but this was not a problem for Shavings. Nothing was too much trouble and good design advice, suggested at the very last minute, has given us a kitchen to be proud of, even better than we imagined. In addition to this, Shavings personal installer did a really good job and I can find no fault with any of the work done. He also did extra work for us which we requested at short notice, some even being after the work was started. Not many places would do this. I have a lovely kitchen now, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other people (just for the record, I have already done so ! ).Thanks for our kitchen Shavings!

While we were building our house we looked at the ranges of ready-assembled kitchen units available from the big, well-known specialist suppliers. We were not very comfortable with sales approaches that encouraged us to take advantage of special discounts that were time limited. Then we came across Shavings Kitchens, who offered essentially the same products, but at a much more reasonable price and no pressure to rush into making decisions. Richard was a good listener who made helpful suggestions and followed through after the sale to make sure everything was satisfactory. A huge disappointment. Bad planning, many mistakes in fitting & bodged repairs by the fitter Richard Hall recommended & supplied. No apologies at all & constant blaming of others. I would never use again.
