Been here multiple times and each time great. Solid food and drink, good service. The fish and chips is especially notable.

We have done a 2 night stay twice in the last month. Room adequate, clean bedding and great shower pressure. Breakfast was amazing plenty to eat kept us full for the whole day. Pub very quiet after the tea time rush so no issue with noise or not being able to sleep. Slept like a log. Would recommend

Nice friendly atmosphere. Good place for a beer and good pub food. Model railway around the skirting board is a talking point.

Tried going there in the morning for breakfast, not a soul in there and they said the chiefs are really busy they wouldn't be able to do breakfast.

Really lovely pub to visit. Great food, portion not too big, but plenty. Good ale, and choice.
Good menu. I choose seafood pie with veg.
Service very polite, good cheerful landlord.
Tiny bit expensive, but about average for a country pub.
Well worth a visit if you are out that way.
