Lovely Olde quirky place. Really welcoming pub, 2 large wood burners. the owners and their staff are so friendly. We had food and overnight stay. Really comfy bed and well equipped room, nice and warm. Just sad that the owners are moving on ?Rooms: Really good night's sleep in a very comfy bed. Loved the room's in this ancient historic building. Could stay there forever. Nice village with great walking for dogs with little streams and the Castle ruins. Dogs are welcome in the pub and the rooms. The current owners and their staff are so friendly, really relaxing atmosphere, shame the owners are moving on ? Nice big garden for warmer weather

Food was lovely, staff friendly and polite, nice little village pub.Shelly was professional and cheerful, the place wouldn't be the same without her.Walkability: Some really scenic walks around the village and a perfect spot to refresh after a walk

Great place to stay, old coaching Inn, full of character. Fantastic bar, friendly staff, amazing food. Room is big, warm and cosy.

Stayed overnight on a walk from Thetford to Walsingham. Their winter timetable was in operation which meant no evening meal available but the village fish and chip shop was perfect! The staff - Shelley and Warren - were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and the bathtub very welcome for a soak after walking all day. Continental breakfast substantial. Would stay here again.

We popped in to see if there were any vegetarian gluten free options for lunch, in between visiting the priory and the castle. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Not only was there something gf and vegetarian but there was a choice of things!

Lovely old pub which sits in the middle of the village. Friendly staff, good selection of draught beers and tasty food. Ample parking, plenty of seating both inside & out. Great visit.

Food poor had Welsh rarebit.Bread could be better duality, cheese very mild , hS to be strong.Slaw was just an oily mess.Nearby activities: Good ruins of castle and nice village.
