We had a fantastic time at Wells Crabs House - it was probably the best seafood either of us have had. Service was excellent and friendly - we are not experienced with eating fresh lobster but the staff were happy to give us pointers and advice. Booking is essential as we saw several walk-in parties get turned away. Prices were reasonable considering the quality, and the atmosphere was excellent. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food and service in a lovely restaurant. We ordered the lobster platter with added dressed crab after seeing other reviews and photos, and it did not disappoint!! The best seafood I have eaten. Booking recommended as tables get snapped up.

I recently visited this seafood restaurant conveniently located near the car park, which made it very easy to access. The moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The décor is beautifully themed with a seaside feel, creating the perfect setting for enjoying fresh seafood.
The food was absolutely delightful?everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The oysters and soft-shell crab were standouts, full of flavor and wonderfully presented. For my main dish, I had the mackerel, which was impressively large and cooked to perfection. My partner ordered the crab with salad, which was equally fresh and delicious.
Overall, this restaurant offers not only excellent food but also a welcoming environment and attentive service. A fantastic place for seafood lovers, and I would be happy to return again.

What an absolute gem. Fantastic food, drink and staff. Couldn't ask for more, we had a fantastic time with 4 adults and two children. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were made to feel very welcome. Great food, we had oysters, lobster, prawns, squid and sea bass, all were fantastic.

I didn?t like it, the lobster was chewy and portions in general were small.

The best food we have had this year! Incredible unique seafood dishes. Everything was just exquisite from the food, to the venue, to the front of house team who were friendly and so professional. I cannot recommend enough! Booking is key... its full for a reason. PS - Please get Monkfish Cheeks in Thai sauce on the main menu (beautiful dish).

The crab platters were of good quality and a generous portion. Gluten-free options were fantastic, and there were no issues with cross-contamination. We?ll definitely return next time we're in the area.

We had a very special family meal here on Wednesday evening. You do need to book ahead as it is rightly popular and gets booked up in advance. We specifically chose Wells Crab and Seafood restaurant because we had never eaten crab or lobster before and we felt that it would be ridiculous to come all the way to the north Norfolk coast and NOT try them! - Theres a great selection of drinks and my husband chose the BOB bustard beer which is brewed locally and I had lovely Norfolk black shuck gin with lemonade. We began by sharing two starters - softshell crab with slaw and pickled ginger and panko prawns with sweet chilli dip. Both were delicious and our son especially loved the prawns. For main's we opted to share the half a lobster in garlic butter and dressed crab with chips, salad, bread and butter, pickle and tartar sauce. Our son had the haddock and chips and tried a little taste of ours. The lobster was a winner all round, the meat was sweet and fresh and with just the right amount of garlic butter. Accompanied perfectly by salad (love those mixed leaves from Blakeney - peppery and tender)beets and bread were also delicious, the pickle was tangy and gherkiny and just right. We were less keen on the crab - through no fault of its own - bless it's little pincers and with thanks to the chef - it was an experience to try - which we're so glad we did in such wonderful surroundings - next time we'll just go for a whole lobster and bring bibs! The only tiny letdown were the chips - which were a bit hard but definitely not a massive deal. We finished with lovely strong coffee and G had a chocolate sundae which he loved. The staff were all beautifully friendly and helpful, warm and happy and clearly enjoy working together which immediately made me feel at ease. Having been a chef for many years i know that if your front of house team are happy - the kitchen squad are too - when things gel it shows and it really really shows here. Thank you so much, for letting us spend a special evening with you and for making us feel welcome and valued.

Loved my lunch here. First time I had lobster too. Oysters were also delicious. The sharing platter lasted us for another meal afterwards! Very friendly staff. The only thing I regretted not asking for, was some gluten free bread to go with that much fish, but that's on me.
