First time diner. Food was good. Hot and fresh, I did not leave hungry! Quite slow service for a Tuesday lunch time. Table of 7 but not many other people in the restaurant. Bar lady/waitress was delightful. Will definitely give it another visit!

The new owners are a happy couple and they make you feel welcomed, the pub was very warm on a cold day and the beer was excellent and reasonably priced, it's a shame they don't do food but it might be something they are looking into but I never asked the question, give this pub a try and give this couple a chance.

Didn't have food friendly service in high st. Book exchange, public and private bars.
Unfortunately someone had a bad stomach and stank the wc out and there was no tissue. Not pubs fault as only just happened by the smell of it, but had to leave as needed loo. Sorry pub owner, sure you would have resolved.
