The tea is like milky dishwater that has been threatened with a cheap teabag and the food what they do have available is disgusting and poorly prepared and apparently ?the customer is never right? is the staff motto if you want cheap junk in an old grotty greasy spoon. Try to get a refund for the inedible and undrinkable and they will argue Then this is the place for you.

Food came out quickly, but no taste to sausages, beans were watery, bread was stale, mushrooms soggy and ketchup tasted like vinegar. £12+ for a breakfast that they wouldn't even swap items, mocha was nice. If you bring your kids here, beware as the toilet goes straight through to a casino too.

This is a great Cafe. Great prices and value. The staff are friendly and will allow you to make small adjustments to your order.I'll often drive to Thetford from Swaffham to eat here.I'll buy the biggest breakfast on offer, get a coffee and a can of pop.Fried bread, tinned tomatoes, bacon and egg, what's not to love?My only gripe, is the mushrooms, I'm old fashioned, I prefer them open or closed cup, stewed tinned mushrooms don't really look good.The cafe was refurbished around 2 years ago, but still looking great. ( it used to be a USA themed thing, it was a guilty pleasure I miss. Lol)Great job

Since when do you order a sandwich and actually get it on stale bread? I ordered a bacon sausage and egg. I had 1 of each half of bread had sausage and other half bacon. The bread fell to pieces while attempting to eat it. Over priced aswell

Cookies is a hidden gem. Genuine friendly service and always very welcoming, all staff are great. The establishment is always very clean and there is a choice of seating at fixed tables, all comfortable. Newspapers available to read if you wish. The coffee and hot chocolate are superbly hot with reasonable prices. Food is good, especially the breakfast items.
