Highly recommend to never come here for repairs. Had a simple repair that needed to be done with my suspension but with the team's inexperience they were unable to do somewhat basic mechanic work to begin the process so I brought a friend to look at what Protyre thetford could not do and he accomplished that task in his house? then they ruined the structural integrity of a part which they stated they would replace and pay for but would take 8 days. Then, the day when they said the car would be repaired they didn?t fulfill due to the delivery taking a lengthy time but they have next to no logistical sense because they were completely unable to track the delivery and kept giving me dates the car would be ready and then those dates would pass? 19 days after I came in with the simple repair and 11 days after they said the part they broke would be repaired they finally returned my car. However, during this time I had to rent a vehicle which set me back over £300 and then they charged me £180 pounds for the ?service? even though I provided the solution and man power to part of the repair and they broke the other part. So not entirely sure what I even paid for. All they provided as compensation was a free full MOT which the vehicle only needed the full MOT because they took so long to repair the car. Additionally during this whole period they never once called or emailed me about what was going on, I had to call over 13 times throughout this period to even hear back about what was going on with my car. In short here are their weaknesses: Customer service, communication, and being ?mechanics?.

They are extremely helpful and kind to me each time I go there to get my tyres checked for correct air pressure or if I have a problem. They are good as gold, cannot thank them enough. Service with a smile off lads working and always quite busy there.

On Saturday (09th September) my car died at the Council's Recycling Centre across the road from Thetford Tyre and Exhaust - Team Protyre, refusing to start. Totally stranded and without my mobile phone (or money), I approached Thetford Tyres and Exhaust - Team Protyre for assistance.From entering the Reception (cap in hand ), Jordan could not have been more personable or helpful. After explaining my situation, he immediately offered to help, without any reservations whatsoever, and within a matter of minutes had walked over to my stranded vehicle and successfully got it started.If this is an example of the level of service routinely being delivered by Thetford Tyre and Exhaust- Team Protyre, it cannot be faulted and I will have no hesitation in using its services in the future (hopefully being in a position to pay next time) nor recommending to family and friends.It really was a refreshing conclusion to what could have been a nightmare situation thanks to Jordan - the joys of motoring (not)!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! EXPENSIVE, THIEVES AND DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY. Had two tyres changed here a few weeks back. Took over 2.5 hours to change 2 tyres! Infact took so long a different garage had fully serviced my partners car in that time. In addition it was very expensive, they broke my locking wheel nut but didn't tell me (only found out when I needed to take wheel off)and they stole my tyre arm! Was definitely in boot at time but I rarely take tyres off myself so only noticed today.
