Bought new lenses for my frames which I had previously bought at Specsavers (kept them as I did not like anything they had to offer) and received them early December 2024. It is now 17 August 2025 and my right lens has ?crazed? and distorts car headlights.
Reported this to Specsavers and though the lenses are les than a year old, was told they would have to send them away for inspection. This cannot be the first time this has happened and it is obvious it is not scratches. Had I agreed to this, I would now be wearing an older prescription for 2 weeks(?) which is totally unsatisfactory and very poor customer service. All they had to do was replace the one faulty lens and fit it my frames. Have been using them for 20+ years but doubt I shall again
Fair enough, after having posted this I was contacted and have had both lenses replaced free of charge. A shame they could not have done this on my first visit. I have upgraded the star rating to reflect this

Such a thorough contact lens check & sight test. Optometrist was great. Store staff very polite and professional. Appointment ran smoothly from start to finish. Would recommend.

I have never met such a friendly and helpful team. Any questions that I had were answered in detail, and the whole process was explained to me throughout. I could not recommend them highly enough!
