Went in on 8/4/25 to deposit a cheque. A few customers with two staff. This gave me the opportunity to see how the staff interacted with the customers. The staff were friendly, polite and very efficient in their roles dealing with everyone, including myself.

I would give this branch zero stars if I could. The manager is an absolute disgrace.I own a company which has provided a cleaning service for many years for a lady who's bank account is with Nationwide. I recently changed my business bank account and the lady completed a new Standing Order form which was left at the bank. The bank was also provided with a letter cancelling a previous Standing Order.Neither the new form or the cancellation of the old form were actioned.I spoke to my client and told her I would go into the branch. The manager Nathan was actually helpful on this occasion, told me an account number had been entered incorrectly on the new form and to send a new form for my client to complete and to get her to sign a copy of my previous order and write 'cancel' on it. He said he would personally action them in branch.Upon receiving both forms I took them back into the branch and Nathan said he would call the lady and update the system himself. So far, so good.Yesterday, Monday 29th January my client called me to say that she had not received a call. I therefore visited the branch again today and at first Nathan was polite. I said he had promised to phone my client and his tone then changed. He said the forms had gone off to the service centre and that he had been told not to speak to me about it any further.Nathan asked me to leave the premises and threatened me with the police. Further he said I was no longer welcome back in the branch and made the accusation that I was 'manipulating my client' in front of several customers.I left the branch feeling incandescent with rage over the way he spoke to me, his aggressive manner when I asked for his name and his general rude demeanour. I have never, ever been so rudely treated or humiliated.I have since spoken to my client and explained what took place and she is also really angry about the situation. She will be speaking to her son, who is her Power of Attorney, and will be submitting a complaint to Nationwide, of whom she has been a customer for many, many years.For my part, I am now looking into legal action against Nathan, the Branch Manager, for defamation.My parting advice would be take your banking custom to anwhere save for Nationwide in Thetford, who do not deserve your custom.

I?ve been with Bank for about 33 years. They?ve always been very kind to me and helped me out as much as they can. Excellent customer service, but what really keeps fusing Nationwide is that they have not close any of their branches. All the other bank accounts we have had we have closed because they have closed their local branches. All of the banks of showing contempt for the phone customers especially since 2008. Nationwide never has. I highly recommend that anyone closes their existing bank account down and only goes with Nationwide. Come on people vote with your feet

Wanted to make an appointment to go in store to discuss mortgage and insurances to be told you have to do all this via video and telephone call. This isn't right you should be able to speak face to face. Why are staff working from home.

Just transfered to Nationwide. Good customer service. Used nationwide years ago and had good service,now it has gone part time working. I was not informed this. So now the high echelons do not care about their staff,( Only 2 on Tuesday), And a long queue customers, so blow the customers. I am thinking of transferring to another system.

Went to draw some money from account today, and found a queue of about 6 people at 0935am, (should open at 0900). Went and got a couple of bits in town and came back gone 1000am, with still a queue. No notice on door explaining what is going on, but plainly someone was in their. Quite important to get the money out and I made a trip into town mainly for that purpose, not good customer service, which is becoming more normal these days
