Stopped off on the way back from holiday and what a find this place is. The food is exceptional and doesn’t cost the earth. In fact it’s the cheapest lunch we’ve had all week while we’ve been away and was by far the tastiest. Probably the best prawn sandwich I’ve ever had and it was only £7.50.

Lovely proper English pub with great service and exceptional pub grub. All very nicely prepared and served by staff with a sense of humour that made the experience even better. Booking via Facebook page very easy and obliging. A most enjoyable lunch out with friends.
Over the last few years, we have upgraded the rooms. we have been dedicated to a goal of creating a warm, friendly atmosphere and the promise of a high standard of service in a clean, fresh and comfortable room. All the rooms have an en suite shower and in-room tea and coffee making facilities as standard. Being in a market town we use the fresh fruit veg & ingredients that the market provides using local butchers means we have the best range of meats possibly available our menu is all home cooked and soused from local fresh ingredients we have the largest range of drought drink in Norfolk inc local ales and a large range of spirits Our aim is to be the best you arrive here as a stranger and leave as a valued customer and friend Many Awards
