I fully recommend this Hotel. We have been on a 6 week trip through Europe and the quality and service at this hotel is far far the best.The location is awesome and the staff are extremely helpful.Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.Highly recommended

Print Room 2.Stayed in this lovely room for 2 nights.Lovely bed, lovely outdoor patio, parking outside. Loved it ++Walkability: Lovely Church walking distance.Mother Hubbards fish chip shop nearby(great food).Grounds of hotel really nice and peaceful.Loved it ++

We stayed in Print Room2 , well laid out with separate bedroom comfy bed and a nice balcony with table and chairs. Loved it. Swaffham Church is a must visit and excellent fish chips in town. Wells next the sea is 45 mins away always worth a visit 10/10

Beauitful Hotel, Ideal location, stunning rooms and decor. Just everything you could want or need for a romantic weekend away. The owners Les and Ness are so helpful and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible with little thoughtful touches throughout. From the home-made bagels, fruit, milk and pastries (how did you know almond croissants are my favourite ever) all left in the room for us to helping us locate local taxi firms. We stayed in the Boudoir room and it was perfect. Very comfortable, nice size room and beautiful roll top bath with separate shower. Thank you Ness and Les so much for making it such a memorable stay. We cannot wait to visit you again in the future.

We recently spent one night at Strattons while on an independent bicycle trip around Norfolk. I was looking for a place to stay in Swaffham area and Strattons website caught my eye, so I booked one of the apartments in a new building on the property. It was simply terrific! We arrived to find the owners in the garden and the two of them could not have been friendlier or more hospitable. The hotel location is excellent - in a quiet residential area just two minutes walk from shops/downtown. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and filled with light - living area, kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom, all totally modern, nicely furnished, and in great condition. They provided everything we needed for a nice breakfast the next morning: coffees, tea, juice, milk, yogurt, pastries; which we enjoyed on our dining table. Swaffham is a nice town with a beautiful church - and we were just sorry we couldn't have stayed longer since Strattons was such a great place.

We'd been at a large 40th birthday party nearby and needed somewhere to recover and chillout and this helped us do just that. We stayed in one of their apartments and everything was true to the photos online. We were lucky with the weather so the room got a little warm. It overlooked the other apartment a little. It was a very comfortable and modern space with a relaxing lounge space. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. Only gripe, wifi was not strong enough to use Netflix. We had a good time.

Change of use to Airbnb, coco's restaurant is no more. Was the best place to eat in Swaffham, the search goes on but may never match this place.

What you must remember about this place is that is listed . Owners of Buildings as old and beautiful as this are limited in how much they?re allowed to do in terms of affording guests the kind of super modern amenities of national chains like prem lodge . The owners of this grand old building have done a superb and sympathetic conversion of this magnificent house into a hotel . The place oozes the style and grandeur of a time long past . The guest lounge area boasts a lovely fire and comfortable seating . There is a detached breakfast / dining room in the grounds to the front of the hotel . I found the prices to be competitive and what you would expect to pay in a hotel of this quality . As a dyed in the wool coffee junkie I was surprised to find that the coffee here , as well as being the best in the town was only 70p more than the nearest greasy spoon of which Swaffham has a number of . It was also no dearer than Costa whse blend I personally am not a fan of . I understand that the bulk of the food is provided from local suppliers including a fabulous butchers in the town centre . Great staff , great service . This has to be the best hotel in the town and surrounding area and we?ll worth a visit .

The hotel and specifically the Red Room are our home when we come to the area. Everyone is extremely nice and we love sitting by the fireplace in the evening. The restaurant has great options for vegans which is really important to me. It is always our go to hotel when we come here.
