Just bought a pair of shoes online and received excellent customer service. I was called to make sure my order was correct and told about a fault and offered a discount before they were posted to me. I was made to feel like a VIP customer which is different from any other online shop.

Wonderful shop with lovely staff. The clothes and accessories are stylish, on trend, well made and all importantly, sensibly priced. A welcome alternative to poor quality, mass produced, soulless fast fashion.

For so long I have avoided self conscious visits to small boutiques, opting for the anonymous, but all too often, soulless trips to the High Street. Then I stumbled across Artichoke in lockdown and visited this week. What a find! Nothing was any trouble at all and there is something for everything here and all at sensible prices. The advice and help I recieved from Donna was kind and honest, as well as educational. I left the shop feeling that I understood my body shape, my own sense of style and the colours that suit me far better than when I stepped in. Surely this is how shopping should be? I walked out of the shop happy, confident, looking forward to many return visits and no longer seeing clothes shopping as an intimidating experience.
