A regular visitor to this hotel. Great atmosphere, lovely grounds and so easy to walk into Sheringham Park next door. Good menu, plenty of parking and rooms with character.

Just had Sunday lunch at the Dales Hotel and it was excellent. We had the sirloin, which was melt in the mouth and the vegetables were superb - I could have eaten a whole dishful of the buttered cabbage! However, the icing on the cake was the dessert. We had the toffee apple sponge with ice cream and popcorn, which was absolutely delicious. The dining room is lovely and the staff are attentive without being oppressive. One of the best meal that we have had in a long time. On the way out we saw a couple having afternoon tea and that looked amazing too! Eating out is often a disappointment nowadays but the Dales was a real treat, very good value too. We will be back!

Tries hard, loses points for poor WiFi. Dog friendly - but not in restaurant, so bar area can be overfilled with dogs! Wonderful surroundings, great walks to be had. Very comfortable, enormous bed and a very good breakfast.

Just returned from a lovely stay. Staff all so friendly and welcoming. Dinning room stunning and the food was delicious. 2 small problems sorted out quickly with no fuss. Room spacious with comfy bed and was very quiet. Great stay, would love to return one day.
