I took my granddaughter who had woken up with a stye. I walked into the shop and waited, whilst three members of staff were behind in the pharmacy area. The pharmacist was busy with prescriptions, noticed we were waiting, and did not acknowledge us. She continued to carry on working, as did her colleagues. Another customer arrived and joined the queue, and we continued to wait. Five minutes later no one came to serve us, the lady behind mentioned to me that this is a regular occurance. She asked the pharmacist if anyone was going to serve us. She mentioned that they were all busy, and we were to wait. So we continued to wait, whilst a queue behind us was now getting bigger. After another two minutes, I enquired if anyone was going to serve us. This was met with somewhat annoyance from the pharmacist. Eventually, an assistant asked if she could help. I explained my Grandaughter had a stye, and was told rather aggressively that they couldn't advise any treatment to buy in their shop. I left absolutely aghast at the whole staff customer service at this particular branch in Sheringham, and will be taking it up directly with Boots. As a footnote, I then went to Lloyd's pharmacy who were utterly delightful and advised particular drops for my granddaughter's eye.

I went in to speak to the pharmacist, who didn't have the decency to come out and speak to me, the guy on the counter had to keep going backwards and forwards with questions and answers, not only is the NHS broken it seems it stretches to chemist's too

Unfortunately the lack of staff means the queue of customers waiting for prescriptions fills the whole shop. I went in to buy something in the morning but after checking if there was any way to pay if you weren?t waiting for a prescription was told ?it?s just me? by the poor lady on the till. I would have had to wait for all the prescriptions to be processed before being able to pay, which probably would have taken an hour or more given the number of people queuing. I feel for the staff but this shop is just for prescription collection as it?s impossible to buy anything unless you want at least an hour?s wait to pay. It was quicker to go to Cromer and buy it there.

I dont blame the staff, they are obviously totally understaffed, but I keep going down to collect my prescription and finding the shop closed. It would help if they left a message saying when they are open again. As for the person who moaned about waiting 15 minutes - I would say he was lucky, its often much longer. Again, obviously not the staffs fault. How the government expect pharmacists to start treating patients as well, when they haven't the time to see to prescriptions, I do not know.

6 queuing at 315pm, 1 trainee on a till and all other staff in pharmacyNo attempt to clear ques and noticeable frustration from customersOn top of this the shelves are literally only half full at best.I am aware Boots are struggling with retail but this is just a complete lack of care for its customersSadly not just this store

Absolutely Dire. Waited in a queue for 15 minutes . Staff were all in the back, I assume, sorting prescriptions.

The worst branch I have ever used! Unfortunately I have to rely on Boots Sheringham for my repeat prescriptions. The only other pharmacy in town, Lloyds, is just as bad. It takes TEN WORKING DAYS before a repeat prescription can be collected. They close whenever they want to without prior notice (sometimes very early afternoon and even on Saturdays). Customers are forced to queue outside in all weathers and are only let in one by one. They do not distinguish between regular customers and those who are there to pick up repeat prescriptions. Disabled? Tough, just stay and wait in the queue. They used to be very good, now they continue to hide behind Covid as a pathetic excuse. I suggest they tell people to start wearing masks again to speed things up and, more importantly, to TAKE ON MORE STAFF TO COPE WITH LOCAL DEMAND. They get away with it because the majority of Sheringham's residents are elderly and afraid to speak up. For now their service remains appalling with no respect for their customers. They are an absolute disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves. By the way, the local medical practice couldn't care less.

When open it deserves 5 stars for the shop?s location, contents, services and service staff. This is a true pharmacy but it?s current frequent lack of full-time chemist/s would rate 1 star!

All staff in the back with only one woman serving. Every time she came out she screeched 'only 3 customers!' Left after the 3rd time of screeching and went to Lloyds....lovely staff.

Absolute waste of time. Phone to see if prescription was ready they said yes it was ready two days ago, but we are not open until 2pm. Queued for 20mins to get into store then told it wasn't ready so had to wait. They need to get there act together

Stood for ages before walking out, whilst myself and another customer were totally ignored by the staff. Not the first time this has happened here. I will find another chemist elsewhere.
