After calling into your lovely shop on the off chance that you would sell a dog brush as our cocker spaniel,George was absolutely covered in sticky buds from a walk we had just been on. Instead of letting me purchase one you very kindly let us borrow your own dog brush. Extremely kind of you, and thank you too to Mabel for letting George borrow your brush!

A lovely local shop with locally sourced products at great value prices. The owners are lovely and gave us a feeling that our custom was valued, a rare thing these days! Add a locally brewed selection of beers and spirits and a locally sourced treasure trove of collectable items and one off house proud goodies and you leave the shop thinking 'I'm definitely going back'

Popped in during our holiday for a couple of essential items. This store is an absolute wonderland! Everything you need surrounded by everything you want! As well as shopping essentials, there are cards, gifts - some locally made - basic hardware and gardening needs and a cellar full of collectables. Nothing is over priced and the layout itself takes you through each department which is both clever and wonderful! Hot drinks available too! This store is perfect - evocative of days gone by and also bang up to date, catering for ever changing and evolving dietary needs too! Well worth a visit and it actually brought a lump to my throat! Long may it survive!Ps, Leah is LOVELY! Tx

This place really is a hidden treasure. So much more than a collectables shop. You pull up outside what appears to be the General Store for the village but what a surprise when you enter the shop. A brilliant collection of rooms and cellar with all types of knicknacks and collectables at really affordable prices, something for everyone. Then you have the general store, stocking local products including cheese, ciders, ales, herbs, spices and much, much more. I know a lot of stores would charge the earth for local products but no, again affordable prices and friendly owners. This is one hidden treasure you shouldn't miss

A great little shop - well maybe not so little! It has lots of extra rooms apart from the 'front window' which are filled with all sorts of interesting and useful items, from cards to antiques to gardening supplies. Nigel's favourite part of the store is of course their extensive range of bottled ales. He love's his Nelson's Bitter and local tipple Brancaster Best. This is a great find and just up the road from the Gin Trap Inn and ward's Nurseries so make a date to visit Ringstead village soon!

A great little shop - well maybe not so little! It has lots of extra rooms apart from the 'front window' which are filled with all sorts of interesting and useful items, from cards to antiques to gardening supplies. They also sell newspapers and magazines and local honey and fruit and veg. The couple who own the shop are really nice, friendly and helpful - just what you need from a local shop, meaning that we are now regular customers,My husband Nigel's favourite part of the store is of course their extensive range of bottled ales.
