The fish and chip meal with an insulting portion of peas was of a good Mac Donald?s standard. We had one small drink each and no afters. I had to wait to pay and l was charged 49 pounds. The seats were too close so we heard all that was said by our neighbours. The atmosphere was get them in, charge them plenty and get them out. We never saw the Landlord, he was probably counting his profits.This is the sad end of what l once considered to be a very special place.

Used to be a jewel in the crown of Norfolk pubs but now a shadow of its former self . Been visiting for over 30 years al.ost since day 1 so well qualified to regrettably observe the place is being run into a Wetherspoons category of service whilst still paying top dollar for meals.. too few waitresses - mix up with food order - food nowhere as good as competitors such as The Recruiting Sargent as example . My own fish was more like a offcut for £19 I believe and I heard other tables complaining of food not being cooked and odd looking ! - have to fetch your own cutlery and condiments - garden not well tended with pots empty / dying and far too few sun shades at tables none of which properly fixed to bases to blowing away - no napkins - the staff were trying but too few - This place is hardly a good advert for Woodfords brewery in its current incarnation.... and has lost its way from its previous standards.
I wont be going back anytime soon but desperately hope this once great pub finds its way again.

The bar staff are great, decent beer and a nicely tuned out pub however we both had the cheddar & pickle sandwich on granary bread and can honestly say that?s the worst thing we?ve had in a long while. The bread was stale, there was hardly any cheese and there was too much pickle. Perhaps it was an off day but in no rush to go back. Photo doesn?t show the crisps or the little tub of coleslaw which were fine.

The pub looks really nice but was a real let down when the glasses were dirty and the food was cold and was made up of cheap ingredients and cold when we got it.

Good pub, but everytime I eat there it seems like they enjoy making me wait for an hour for my food.

We met with 6 family members for lunch very disappointing volt Ipa was poor Norfolk nog was good the food was nothing special I had a prawn sandwich which was on cheap bread and toasted ? Probably cos not fresh it came with the worst coleslaw I have ever had worse than cheap supermarket value stuff 4 people had the ploughman?s which was big but pork pie not nice soggy pastry and same coleslaw all in all expensive prices poor quality and you would think being next to the brewery they would get the beer right

Always enjoy going here. Food generously sized. The ladies are good behind the bar and table service very good. Beer excellent. Lovely garden.

We headed to the Fur & Feather right after our Woodford Brewery tour. A big group of us (stag do) were welcomed by lovely Dona, she helped us getting just what we wanted and definitely dealt with all of us providing an outstanding service.
Food was incredible, pizzas are to die for, and the overall vibe in the pub is super nice and welcoming (I personally talked to some locals and they were delightful)
Definitely a place that cannot be missed and needs a visit if you are in the area!
Thanks for everything to all the staff, and get Dona a promotion!

Amazing experience. We walked in from the brewery tour, 18 of us on a stag do dressed as pirates, drunk and loud but we were welcomed in and looked after. Great drinks, great food and great vibes. We really enjoyed Donnas great vibes and smart communication. ???????????

Every member of staff was absolutely excellent, friendly and attentive. Food was was delicious, good value for money and plentiful, atmosphere could have been better, but a lot of people sat in the garden rather than indoors.
Difficult to pick one particular member of staff as being particularly good, but Ella was excellent, when I had an issue with my booking which was accidentally booked for the wrong day, probably my error, and she sorted it out quickly and efficiently.
