The big pie is well worth getting if you are feeling hungry. Sunday dinners are value for money. I think You have to book as it gets busy. So tables are reserved so no waiting Great landlord and landlady. Very friendly place.

The big pie is incredible. A pound of meat in the steak one, chips home made. Sunday dinners are very nice too. Well worth a visit. I think you have to book as it gets busy. Great hosts too

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch , what a great place, I had a medium steak and ale pie, it was fantastic, don't be fooled into having the large one, will definitely be going again.

Visited Q of H's today (22nd June) for Sunday lunch. 3 of us. Food was top drawer, fresh well cooked and plenty of it. Owner's very welcoming and friendly as always. Have not visited for some 6 months or so, (due to family issues) but as said everything was still 100% on this and past visits. Keep up the good work Cheryl and Ian always a pleasure to visit and dine. ??

Lovely Sunday lunch for Dad's birthday and it really was delicious! Served super hot, lashings of gravy and just the perfect amount to satisfy without feeling uncomfortably stuffed. Really friendly welcome, warm and cosy room, good range of drinks for a small village pub. Really couldn't have asked for more!

Welcomed & served by friendly polite staff. Great homely style , cooked food, served piping g hot & of a good potion. (Highly recommend the steak and kidney pudding). A good atmosphere inside that's nice & presentable. (We sat outside as nice & sunny) Also, the Queen of Hearts has a good range of foods that are at a cost to cater for most people's pockets. Ps. I believe its dog friendly too!

Wow, what a pleasure to have found this little gem. Top fresh beers and amazing food. The landlady is extremely helpful. 15 of us ate at once with different meals and the chef was fantastic. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come again. Empty glasses and plates all round.
