A friend runs this pub to a high standard which has an excellent range of beers and spirits along with assorted bar snacks.
Events periodically including Karaoke and many different bands.
Unfortunately the pub doesn't serve meals but has many a visiting food van especially combined with various events such as Two Wheel Tuesday and the Old Buckenham Airshow which can be viewed from the village green.
Dog friendly venue, juke box and pool table, seating out the front overlooking one of the largest village greens in England.

Great local pub. Always have different ales, and the beer quality is always great. They do have food vans that occasionally come and they are all very nice. Lovely outdoor seating on the green or inside if you'd rather

Seriously well back from the road this unpretentious pub, ticks a lot of boxes.
Simple layout, friendly and beer kept to perfection.
Usually a selection of around 4 or 5 available.
Always kept well by the knowledgeable landlord.
Outside you can sit out overlooking the large quiet village green & pond. Children's playground nearby. Untroubled by passing traffic 200 yards away
It rarely has any food other than rolls if youre lucky. But it often has a fish and chip van outside. Dont go on 2 wheel Tuesday. Hundreds often turn up but the street food vans and bar cab be very busy.
Missing a trick by not doing at least something basic like sausage rolls, pork pies etc which requires little effort.
But its somewhere that feels welcoming & relaxed with a cast of locals.
I drop in most times I'm passing.
At weekends they often have music on.

Went for a quiz night. Fish and chip wagon. A free house so plenty of selection at the bar. No food serve in pub

First time at two wheel Tuesday, hosted by the ox and plough. Fantastic evening, brilliant food drink and atmosphere was amazing, with over 1000 bikes in attendance. Loved the hotdogs and especially the very large ice cream from the ' ice queen van.
Top event well worth a visit, thanks to the organisers and the stewards at the meet.

If you like motorcycles, every Tuesday in the summer, it's the place to go. Great selection of beers at the pub too.
