Reasonable landing fee £10 for RV-4. Fuel Avgas £2.17/L.Friendly welcome & ATC.The food at the cafe (Beef Bourginon & Beef and Ale pie) was excellent, but badly let down by being served on cold plates which made the food cold very quickly. Make sure you ask to have your food served on a hot plate. Very reasonable prices. Coffee good too, wine available for my pax. The museums were interesting.Possibly the nicest smelling toilets I?ve been to since a posh nightclub!Well done.

Great Nostalgia at Old Buckingham on any day let alone my first visit was at the airshow, steeped in history. One for the road trip guys. Excellent visit but also an excellent aerodrome.

Visited the cafe for lunch. Felt very unwelcome as a cyclist, was demanded upon trying to order food to head back to the entrance and take my shoes off as I would damage the flooring.. not sure why that would be? if you're coming by bike, be sure to skip this one out and visit a much more welcoming cafe nearby.

This review is about the 2022 Old Buckenham Airshow rather than the airfield in general. Old Buckenham is a small, but well equipped, airfield in South Norfolk. It has hosted an annual airshow for many years, but the 2022 show was its biggest and best yet. The show was held on both a Saturday and Sunday with the same line up each day. I attended on the Saturday and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Drove straight in, no queue at the ticket check (advance tickets only). Similarly, after the show it took only 5 minutes to get out of the car park. Plenty of space to set up the chairs and watch the flying. Fair range of trade stands to look at. Plenty of catering ? good quality and sensible prices (about 50% what you get stung for at Duxford). Quite a big military vehicle display to look at too. The flying display line up was excellent ? genuinely up to Duxford standards but at about 60% of the cost ? excellent value! Highlights includes a total of 5 Spitfires, B-17, RAF Typhoon, Catalina, Lysander plus a wide and interesting range of supporting acts. Something for everyone but still with plenty of appeal for the serious aviation enthusiast. Overall, a well organised, entertaining, good value for money airshow ? what more could you ask for?

Flew in for the first time today (the hay bales on the centerline are a bit weird, but at least they make spotting the runway easy ?) - unfortunately we picked a day when there was a private event on at Jimmy's, so we didn't get to try the food (which I'm assured by others is very good). Matt was very welcoming and kindly arranged fuel for us. All in all a good trip - would definitely go again.

Great airshow this year with lots to eat/buy. Highlights included blackjack, the Catalina and Sally B. Ticket checking was quick at the entrance.

Still a fantastic air show , but honestly I did think the food and especially the drinks where extortionate. Highly recommend going to the show next year but my advice would be take your own delicious food.

We were there just to look at the USAAF memorial. But according to the posters displayed they were about to be putting on an air show which looked very promising. Very American themed with plenty of attractions. East to find & plenty if parking.

Don't go to the airshows here they do not manage the traffic properly. An hour and a half of stationary traffic and still 3 miles from the field meant I just gave up and went home this year along with many many others.

Visited for the airshow. Everything we needed with out being too over the top. Planes and displays outstanding. An absolutely amazing day.

Old buckenham airshow good friendly show but tickets shld be checked as you pull into car park it possible to park and watch show for free right next to entrance - poor security? Lack of stewards for traffic control in roads in. Bad journey but worth it when we got there. Hate seeing people not paying for entertainment when so many others have.
